I ate here as was staying nearby. Nice location with good parking. Lovely pub with some lovely ales on and a good menu choice, great service definitely recommend.

The cheesy garlic bread is to die for. I ate too much and after an excellent steak and onion rings i struggled to finish the fantastic citrus dessert.

Went for lunch recently with a number of friends. Food and service very good and very welcoming and cosy decor. Plenty of parking in large car park.

Great steak and chips and staff are friendly, but the dessert selection is limited and no traditional hot puddings at all. The ice cream portion is very small (the smallest I have seen for the price) the cook needs a bigger scoop.....

A pretty, thatched traditional pub and restaurant, the Punchbowl and Ladle has masses of character both inside and out. Parts of the building date back to the 15th century and during the 17th century it was a hostelry for travellers and mariners crossing the river Fal on the King Harry Ferry. Legend has it that part of the building was employed as a customs house, and the original fireplace in the bar was used to destroy confiscated contraband! Today, Graham & Jacqui Hill and their team welcome you warmly into the pub that has two bars, a large dining area and plenty of cosy nooks and corners for people to sit in comfort.
