We had a nice meal here one night although it is easy to miss tucked away as it is. Lovely friendy staff and fresh home cooking.
We spent an evening here, mostly good quality English food, nice location, great pint. The fish and chips was not what i was expecting, it was an ordinary frozen fish from a packet rather than home made, but it was ok.
Just returned from our holiday and ate here 5 mornings out of 7. Best breakfast around and the owners and staff are really nice people.
Ate there twice, food excellent and reasonable prices, great/friendly staff and excellent location- highly recommended.

went there with a family of 8 for breakfast positive, lovely settings, food of good quality, if not generous negative asked for extra toast, not delivered, no apology, overcharged at the till which we had to point out, no apology overfamiliar

Ok if you really want 'proper English grub with real chips and pies. Not for us. We only had soft drinks and tea which were expensive
