Coming here since 1991, never had better fish anywhere. The location is just the most relaxing. Try it out

Stopped for lunch and the four of us shared a Stone Bass which was excellent. The food is not cheap, but it is excellent quality and beautifully cooked on a charcoal grill. my suggestion is to have a green salad with the food. An added bonus is the local beach and of course plane spotting.

Poor attitude. Poor service. Surly staff. Overpriced. Since when did 1 potato salad, 1 glass of water, 1 super bock beer and 2 glasses of wine cost 44 euros? Surprised to see it packed in October. Never going back so you can go and find out for yourself. Take LOTS of money though.

Very popular and busy but inconsistent of quality. Mediocre service. For a fish restaurant the sole was not baked properly, the other main dish was good.

If you want to pay 89 euros at the minimum for a piece of fish, to sit at the beach, go ahead, but those prices are ridiculous for Portugal. Fish is not expensive there. You can eat in food markets, most restaurants for a fraction of that price.

Wonderful setting, great service by friendly staff, and fabulous food. These guys know how to cook fish. Simply grilled with fresh veg and potatoes- the quality of the food speaks for itself. We chose a stone bads for 4 and it was superb. Our starters of clams in a garlic and white wine sauce, giant prawns grilled on the half... More

In an idyllic location overlooking the Ria Formosa Gigi's should be a spectacular restaurant but it falls far short. No high chairs for babies, bread which was stale cost €2.50 per portion served with packets of butter. No olives or pate as is the custom in Portugal. One orders all of the dishes off a blackboard including wine. The uncooked... More

The location was great, service was fine and the fish was delicious. I was expecting above average prices, but was wasn't quite expecting an 85 euro lunch for 2. We shared a salad, shared the sole and each had a beer. Other fish joints with lesser locations cost 1/3 and have the same seafood quality.

Consistently good for fish with a fine wine menu this seaside restaurant is the best on the strip between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. The food is well presented and the service is very good. Great music in the background! Book a table in advance to be sure of an outside seat.

Gigi's used to be - 10 or 15 years ago - great. Now its got lazy and is living off past glories. Regulars still think its great but its isn't. Food is very average. The ambiance is still lovely and Gigi is still there, but..... Pity.
