Ambient and whole decorating is beautiful and very relaxing with nice Croatian music (by Oliver Dragojević). I was served by Igor and I can say that customer service is at its finest. Mediterranean food is very delicious and I wanna say special thanks to the chef and whole kitchen staff. Prices are not expensive and they are really "okay" compared to the rest of Croatia sea-side. All together 10/10 and 100% recommendations to visit this beautiful and relaxing tavern.

Not my first visit. The host Elizabeta is a ray of sunshine. Since the last time they improved the accomodation to a great level. Rooms are very nice, clean and well furnished. The food is excellent, Daily fished from local fishermen. A must try is veal or octopus “izpod peke” but it needs to be preordered. This time we had a cold starter, seashells a la buzara (which is actually amazing) and grilled sea bass.
I do recommend it for a overnight stay or for a longer stay - couple or family.

This place is a treasure to Vir. We found this while touring the Island for our last Croatian meal. I 100% recommend eating here. My husband was very happy with the fish (catch of the day). Thank you for being entertaining and pleasant. We loved the decor an ambience to your restaurant.

overcooked dry tuna, overcooked chewy squid, shrimp frozen then overcocked by 10fold, fish solid
But I can not go pass the French fries, since 4 out of 6 people at our table had them as a side dish. To put frozen fries in cold oil and then serve them and call yourself a restaurant. Sorry, u can't. This is such a rookie mistake to make, and further more u see the fries soft and oily and u still serve them. Sorry this is 1/5 everyday of the year.
The waiters were OK, wine was OK as well, it's was super hot under the roof so a roof fan that works would be much better then 3 which don't. #hint

The two of us ordered mixed seafood appetizer (80kn = 10,65€) and fried calamari with french fries (80kn) for each of us. Mixed seafood appetizer is supposed to be for two people, but what you get is too little for two people and is not worth 80kn. Aside from the value for the price, the dish is very tasty. Calamari with french fries are excellent and the portion is large enough to justify the price of 80kn. Along with the dish, you get their homemade tartar sauce. The ambiance is nicely decorated with interesting sea decorations. Huge compliment to the waiter who was very kind, professional and funny. With the exception of the disappointment with the appetizer (which we ordered more out of curiosity), I recommend this restaurant.

We are regular visitors of island Vir and we eat many times in spavalica. In general it can good but unfortunately also quite bad. So I would say you may go for it and if you are lucky you may eat good sea based dish. And yes go there only if you like seafood. In general during season waiting times are quite long (1h easily). I would say it is one of the Best restaurants on Vir, but still far from beeing good. For the money that you pay the service and food is average.

It was the best meal we had in the whole island. The staff was very nice, polite and friendly, food was excellent and also the wine was good. The prices were fair and overall we were super pleased we have found this reasturant because the others on the island let us down. I recommend this place to everyone.

In all this chaos and rush on the overcrowded Vir island, kod Spavalice is a great surprise. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere, where you can really enjoy your food. Sadly, probably the only restaurant on the island where you can eat some very good seafood. If this is your first time on Vir, it's a little bit hard to find.
For the appetizer waiter offered us hot bruschetti with tomato and olives which was excellent.
We had grilled white fish, swordfish steak, and kids had calamari. Everything was great. Quite high prices, but also great food.
Service was also great, non-intrusive and very helpful.

We visited Konica kod Spavalice several times during our 10 day stay on island Vir. In fact, almost every evening. I tried a variety of dishes, only seafood and was glad every time. My dog always got a bowl of water. The cooks know their job as well as the waiters. I will dream of their dishes on cold winter nights far away. They were rated #1 on Trip Advisor and I confirm they deserve it!
