Lovely fresh fish and steak with truffles. Can get busy and the owner does come across stressed when it gets busy. Worth a visit for sure.

Small, cosy restaurant in the centre of Liznjan. Food was fantastic as was the service. Slightly pricier than the other local restaurants but a higher standard and well worth a visit.

We had a dinner in offseason, the service was very good, we had the tradional istrian food "fuzi" for the first time, and the meat was just excellent!

We visited here twice while staying in Liznjan. As other reviewers have said the atmosphere is excellent, friendly staff and the food is excellent value and well cooked. The seafood risotto and rump steak were particularly good. The local wine is good value too. A...little hard to find but definitely worth looking for!More

This restaurant is bit more expensive than average, but food and service is really nice. We really liked clams with with white wine. They have nice tables outside as well.

First of all, I like to say that we got a bery warm welcome from the staff and the owner Eric. Small restaurant with a small but carefuly selected menu. Must try is a beefstake wich was fantastic. See food was exellent too. Regular prices....The nicest thing to say about Kaminada is the Istrian atmosphere in it. Very very nice. Looking forward to come back again.More

A very nice restaurant, hidden in a narrow street. We had ordered at another restaurant in the city, but as they couldn’t guarantee us food this evening, we chose to go here instead. And we were not disappointed. The food was good, the service was...better, and the atmosphere was fantastic. This is a hidden pearl in a back alley in this small city. The children’s menu was a bit limited, but the selection they had worked well. Unfortunately, we could not try the barbecued veal, that had to be ordered one day in advance. But the dishes we had was good as well. A perfect ending of a nice week in Liznjan.More

We didn’t book but came quite early (7pm) and were made very welcome. I had read the reviews and was a little concerned about the friendliness of the staff but they could not have been nicer. The food was delicious. We had the mussel salad...starter and the ‘cold’ starter - which was a salad with a variety of seafood. Then we had the pasta with ham and truffles - delicious, the steak with truffle sauce - obviously very good because it went down very well and no one was offered a taste! - and the scampi - delicious fresh enormous grilled scampi. Good value food in a lovely setting. I would recommend this place.More

This was the third time we visited this restaurant in Liznjan. The new owner has kept the the relaxed feeling, but simplified the menu card. We had delicate homemade ravioli with truffles and local beef. Local red wine, which also was the base for the...sauce. And only local vegetable as side dishes. The restaurant can be a little difficult to find, but ask the locals. We can really recommend this small village restaurant.More
