The restaurant service was mostly bad. The quality of the food was average. Most of the restaurant staff were inattentive. Once we got our food they didn't check on us until long after we were finished. They made multiple mistakes on our orders in the 3 days we were there. I highly recommend skipping the overpriced buffet's and ordering off... More

The Tiare is the main restaurant of the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa. As such, it offers both international and local cuisine. Unfortunately, both the quality of the food as well as the service is only average in my opinion.

We had several meals in the restaurant as guests and each and every one was good, but very pricey, especially breakfast.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet here one morning during our stay at the Intercontinental Hotel Tahiti. The buffet has more hot and food choices than you could every want or eat in one sitting. The restaurant is very large and the servers are attentive and friendly.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his prawn dish however my food gave me a bad case of gastro which lasted for 9 days because there was an amoeba parasite in there caused by contaminated food or water. Never again!

The menu, while not extensive, offers everything from filling main courses to sandwiches and salads. We ordered a panini which took over 20 minutes to arrive.

There was something for everyone's taste. The cocktails were delicious, and the service was attentive.

We stayed in 3 of the Intercontinental hotels throughout our trip to French Polynesia and this restaurant by far had the most variety and choices. We never got bored of the menu and were excited to try new things!

Everything we ordered was delish. A bit pricy but whatever. They were really accommodating with our little one who only wanted watermelons. I say the food is pretty comparable to Le Lotus. It's got that pacific rim flavor to it. Tip: they offer the same menu for room service too.

We ate lunch here twice and it was delicious. Our table ordered the gamut from burgers to raw fish to salads. Everything was delicious. Staff are friendly and service is great. Prices are great too for this part of the world. Looking at other tables there were many locals too. We wish we could have stayed for the local show... More

The Tiare with its open kitchen is the heart of the hotel's ground floor, looking out over our stage, infinity pool, waterfalls and Moorea's spectacular silhouette and mountains.
The menu ranges from light snacks and healthy salads to fresh fish specialities and specially selected meats from New Zealand.
The hotel's main restaurant is open from 6.00 A.M. To 09.30 P.M. Every day with continuous service of all meals.

To give you an authentic taste of Polynesia, we present a program of dinner shows during which dinner is followed by an exciting performance of the unique Tahitian dances:

Wednesday: "Marquesas Night"
Discover the legends and powerful Marquesas Islands dances with the impressive Toa Huhina group of warriors. Buffet features Polynesian and Marquesas specialties

Friday: "Polynesian specialties Buffet and Tahitian Dance Show"
The most popular dining event in Tahiti with its sumptuous buffet of Polynesian specialties.
Featuring the internationally renowned "Les Grands Ballets de Tahiti" who dance to the joy of living, under Tahiti most famous melodies in a very colorful show.

On Sunday morning, enjoy our brunch which features typical Polynesian specialties.
