We were staying at the Intercontinental on our last night in Tahiti, and we booked very late in the day so couldn't get a reservation until 830pm (which is late on island time!) but it was totally worth waiting for. There was little view at that time, but it didn't really matter as the ocean breeze plus the lights of... More

The Lotus is an overwater restaurant in the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa resort. It offers very good local cuisine (like Mahi-Mahi in vanilla sauce, for example). The food is rather expensive, but the great setting and spectacular view of Moorea island is definitely worth it.

This was our last stop and meal before boarding our flight back to the US. And what a great stop it was .. The setting is magical .. Over water with many fish and a rather large shark swimming below ... But the ultimate show stopper is the meal! Starting with the best Mai Tai I had in French Polynesia!!... More

We arrived promptly for our 6:30 reservation at the Lotus Restaurant and were greeted and seated promptly at a beautiful table on the edge of the dining area. The Lotus is fine dining at its best. Our wait staff was very friendly and helpful with questions on the menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Save room for dessert!... More

This place was so romantic, the food was great and the staff was very attentive to our need. We stayed at the Intercontinental Resort and Hotel in Tahiti from April 24 to May 3 2016. We celebrated our anniversary dinner in this restaurant inside the hotel. They gave us the best table that we requested a day before and gave... More

Great French inspired Polynesian cuisine in a location second to none. Get there early to see Moreea in red tints at dusk

We had our last meal in French Polynesia here and were very happy with our choice. It had great ambiance and was very nice to sit and eat our meal listening so the sounds of the ocean. The food was very good and they even brought around additional gourmet appetizers.

We are here while staying at the intercontinental on our last night. The food was very good, not as great as expected but still very good. Choices were different, and the location was great. Only downside was service was not as good as the price suggest it should be.
