We went multiple times during our stay and loved the food, atmosphere and live music everyday at 7pm. The waiters are so great: Oscar, Henry and Juan Carlos made our experience so nice.

A great restaurant that’s inside Nayara springs hotel. Tasty food and fantastic service! The waiter Oscar served us so well and he made this dinner a real experience!

Maybe it was my choice - but I thought my meal was only average. The setting is magnificent as we sat outside overlooking the adult-only pool. Food offerings are local and traditional and I selected the fish tacos. What I received was fine but nothing...special. With so many food choices at the resort, I'd suggest trying other options.More

My wife and I dined here 4 of 6 nights during our recent stay at Nayara Springs. Restaurant has it all in terms of ambiance, live entertainment, and refined international cuisine. Although I mostly opted for their fresh fish and seafood dishes, I was most...impressed with their preparation of mushroom risotto - some of the best I had anywhere. The highlight of the evening was the preparation, presentation, and taste of the Costa Rican coffee flambe' made with Costa Rican coffee liqueur and Costa Rican rum. The fire display was amazing and the coffee drink was delicious.More

Had to come just for the Purple! The atmosphere is amazing, cocktails, appetizer, dinners, desserts, service and live music were all on point! Reservations are a must at least a few days before, there are not many table/lounges inside so do call as soon as...you know you want to try it! It is not cheap just FYI, but worth the experience.More

So for the good, ambience velvet couches beautiful setting, good guitarist playing soft versions of rock, attentive but misguided wait staff. Wine list ok. For the bad, the food. I was served a delicious tasting of squash soup. The problem is it was a taste. The...restaurant wasn't pitched Sas nouvelle cuisine but literally 4 soup spoons and finito. For the main course I was recommended a lamb chops. Serving size on the tad small but at least presentable. Problem is the knife could barely cut through it. Mi espousa had the beer carpaccio also good but one beer probably served 10 individuals. The beef short ribs ok, but for the price we paid who wants ok. One other annoying item that this and other restaurants suffer, if you ask for still water don't bring out a 7 dollar bottle of water. So for the price I am 100 % certain you can do better.More

I can’t put into words how special this place is. The ambiance, the food and staff really are commendable. A truly very special place that I will never forget and hope to revisit at some point. The flambé is a must and the chicken curry...to die for. Joint number one of the best restaurants I have used.More
