Isolated and tough to find, but peaceful once you are there. Services are few but then so are the crowds. You will need a car or quad to get here. Be careful!

You need transport but well worth the journey. Small beach with a few umbrellas and beds with a good family run taverna. No frills but wonderful beach and freshly prepared food and wonderful service. The daughter (10) is the star of the show!!

As for the Cambia Beach taverna, I just had coffee and a quick snack there - delicious. Then I hurried towards the place nearby from where you can take distant pictures of the Red Beach - that was the purpose of the visit. The small beach in front of the taverna is an example of how Greeks take good care... More

We stumbled upon the beach while out exploring the island. The drive down is very long and bumpy, and I was a bit worried we would end up with a flat tire on our rental car. At the bottom is a small beach, with nice views, although after such a long trip down I think we were expecting more. We... More

Located down a long, bumpy and dusty track, Kambia beach is off the beaten track, but well worth the trip in my opinion. The beach is small, but with relatively few visitors, this isn't a problem. The water is clear; great for swimming. Snack Bar Kambia is family run, serving simple but tasty meals. There can be little that is... More

Found this beach on our way to the lighthouse. A dirt road leads you down to a wonderful little beach with crystal clear waters, a friendly and inexpensive little restaurant, and best of all, the absence of hordes of tourists. If a little solitude is what you want, this is the beach for you.

On the last day of our holiday we ventured around the island with our scooter looking for new spots to discover. So we went through a quite rough pebbled road to the sea by the White Beach and reached a beautiful secluded corner which fully repaid our efforts. Unfortunately our clapped-out scooter absolutely refused to restart. But there was no... More

A very long, rocky ground road to go to the beach - and nothing interesting at the end. The beach is not really pretty, there are really a lot of more beautiful, interesting beaches to go on the island.
