I find it strange reading stories about grumpy staff. On arrival to the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to our table at the front of the restaurant, perfect if you want to enjoy the view. I would...highly recommend booking lunch or dinner as you will get one of the best tables. There were a lot of people trying to get into the restaurant to take photos without eating or drinking so I can see why staff would get annoyed by people doing this. If you arent going to pay for anything, you shouldn't be in there! The menu was extensive and the food was of high quality and delicous, I enjoyed my cocktail too. Service was quite slow but this is fairly normal in the Mediterranean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend eating here in Zakynthos, you will not find anywhere else with a better viewMore

Got lost finding this place as the boyfriend was driving. Eventually found it and really enjoyed the food which was lovely. We had a selection of starters inc calamari, houmous, prawn saganaki and Greek salad all of which were tasty. The views from this place...are amazing, I had seen a few when checking where to go but you don’t realise until you get here how fantastic it is. Lovely place, great setting, good food and views to remember forever. Nice bar also!More

The restaurant has a panoramic view!!! We had to make a reservation 4 days before through the internet because it was full. The food was perfect. It has an interesting version of greek mediterainian cuisine. Some dishes are cooked in the wood oven. They have...a tasty greek version of tiramisou. We loved it! After reading the reviews me and my girlfriend were abit unsure to go here as they weren’t great and some said the staff were rude. Lies staff were great and the food was quick turned up at 1pm for lunch on Sunday which is when...it opened (not 1230) got a great seat and quick food no reservation needed. Tip - keep going up the hill there’s a lovely quiet cafe/van with and unreal view point paid 8 euro for a fresh smoothie and Greek coffee.More

Car park was full when we arrived (7pm) but managed to park a little further down the road. Our reservation details were checked and confirmed and we were shown to our table courteously and efficiently without any issue at all. We were well looked after...throughout the evening and all waitresses / waiters / food runners etc that we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The food that we ordered was generally very good - the chicken souvlaki was moist and tasty, the pork souvlaki looked superb and the pizzas were demolished by the ‘kids’ (19 and 21!) though I would have said the pizza bases looked a bit thick for my taste. Cocktails were very nice and the view was very good. Most of the people on the evening we went were young couples. Quite amusing watching them pose and pout on the viewing platform but the overall vibe was great - efficient, friendly and relaxed. It wasn’t at all stuffy. It is more expensive than some of the other restaurants we visited but overall I thought the experience was worth it and I would definitely go back.More

The restaurant with the most amazing view on the whole zakynthos island. Family own, with several members of the family working there, all of them welcoming and very kind. They want the place to be relaxing so the tables are well spread out in the...garden with much space between them which is very appreciable. From all the tables you have a view of the spectacular cliff, beach and islets. There is also a special view point to take pictures from. The menu is Mediterranean, with few very good Greek dishes. We loved the pepper pie, the lamb, the slow cooked meat and the salads. Reservation is needed before going.More

We visited as a couple without a reservation and were given only the option for a drink with an arrogant answer from the manager at the entrance as apparently all tables were reserved (without having a reserved marker on all the tables). We asked if...there was an opening if we could get a table and were told that they would inform us as soon as there was one. We asked once again after an hour if anything has opened once multiple tables were free and the answer was that they were still reserved. They also asked us over 3 times if we asked for the check (like they wanted us to leave) even though we never did. After two hours of enjoying our wine on a "cocktail table" and multiple tables being free we left. (The staffs responce otherwise was kind of polite but they were on every ocasion slow to clear tables from dishes).More

Arrived at restaurant to ask if there was any availability and was greeted by an extremely rude maitre’d. He was not helpful and very abrupt. No guidance was provided and we were rudely told to leave the premises. Beware of the grumpy man.

Spectacular views. Worth the drive. Food was lovely and restaurant was spotless with plenty of staff. One pizza between two people is plenty but the souvlaki presentation is unexpected.

The arrogant buffoon right at the entrance to the restaurant spoils the impression. An elderly, pompous man plays the big boss and gives the impression of the whole restaurant. Don't spoil your impression of an otherwise great island and don't waste your time here.
