Authentic sea's tastes, with unchanged quality over time, have become a reference for 3 generations.Famous tastes in every part of Greece thanks to the authenticity, the freshest ingredients and stable quality. A rich variety of seafood dishes and appetizers takes us back in time, namely in 1964, when Takis Pagona and grandfather Vlassis generously shared hosting Kavos with its first clients.Today their son, Tasos keeps the family tradition alive, reminding us daily pleasant flavors and true values of a bygone era.
All reviews fish shrimp pasta carpaccio steak fries greek wine excellent quality lovely view location is amazing definitely recommend this restaurant catch of the day relaxing atmosphere seafood restaurant sea view great seafood nice house wine
Pros: fish is really fresh and well cooked. The location is also very nice. Cons: basically everything else... we waited almost 30 min before receiving the menus although there were only few customers. Service was really poor, the staff was not welcoming at all. Prices...are extremely high for Greece (60/70 eur for kg of fish). Not recommended.More
A fish tavern with a lot of tasteful seafood apperizers and spaghetti(depending on availability) .
Great spot, by the sea, caring service, nice house wine .The place can be crowded noon time on weekends, so it is better to book a table first!
After reading the reviews on here , we decided that a visit to Kavos was definitely on the agenda. An absolutely delightful setting although the access road takes a bit of manoeuvring. Right by the beach, the restaurant is idyllic and what you expect of...a taverna if you have watched Shirley Valentine. The food itself was delicious. One of our party is not over keen on seafood so the proprietor went out of his way to make her a delightful tomato and feta linguini to go with the seafood linguini that the rest of the party had. We accompanied the food with an unoaked Santorini which was recommended and warmly welcomed. All in all an excellent evening out at a fantastic restaurant. Highly recommendedMore
Enjoyed a great meal here.Freshly baked hake and linguine with big shrimps. Setting is also very pretty next to the sea with all the little citylights in the background.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant of you are around.
Went after a recommendation of a local friend and we didn't regret it!
The location is amazing, just next to the sea.
The owners , a very friendly couple, are very welcoming and they try to help you.
After choosing our own fish, mussels and...oysters, we had a tasteful dinner with a bottle of greek wine.
Do not miss it!More
