Exceptional quality seafood and accompaniments. Beautiful off the beaten path waterfront location. Very attentive service by an experienced staff. Although we are long time customers we don’t have the opportunity to visit the restaurant as often as we like, nonetheless they accommodate us royally.

We had high expectations, but the end result was even higher. First of all: the owner not only knows aboud food and seafood, but really cares about. He is, after so many years, enthusiatic about the food and especially about the origins. No bluffing. If...he has no wild fish, because of strong winds, he directly declares that all available fish is grown. But when he starts to talk about kalamari, then you realize his passion. I do nto fancy taramasalad, but we got some. And it was like a heaven. Kalamari: out of space. Clam spagethy is a food you get everywhere; but here it is another story: rich in taste, spagethy cooked to the point… whow! And fish, grown seabas. Something that we do not fancy much, but … there was no other option, as I said. At the end it was delicious. Full surprise. Not to forget housewine. A trully perfect mattch. Our ladies are really picky when it comes to wine, but they loved it. And if you kniw them, that tells a lot.More

I had one of the best fish dinners ever! I ate a grilled sea bream fish that was expertly prepared. The server was helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and hospitality experience! Worth getting here, even if it’s not on your route. The fish and seafood were prepared with so much talent and delicate- the best we ate in a longtime!

A great lunch that will stay in the memory for years. The tarama and oil went well with the bread and the view set us up for a great experience. We like fish. Perhaps a slight understatement and when we went to choose our fish...the “choosing" turned into an in-depth discussion and lesson about Mediterranean fish. It was a delight to talk at length with a fellow enthusiast who’s knowledge dwarfed mine. When the perfectly cooked squid and mullet arrived we ate heartily and drank good wine. The proprietor really knows his stuff and his knowledge and enthusiasm is contagious. We will be returning, it’s only 2,200 miles. A journey worth making.More

We had dinner at “Cavos” restaurant with a friend that has been there before. My friend suggested we should go there and told me that I would love it. She was right!!! Friendly and nice environment, excellent service and delicious food by the sea. I...would definitely go there again and I believe that it’s worth to go. This is what I should call “value for money”.More

Awful! The place is a sh1t hole . Its full of tacky bars, fast food restaurants & noisy inconsiderate drunks. We make a mistake coming here and I can’t wait to go home - first time that’s happened. The local people are great & do...try to provide a good service & keep the place tidy. I don’t suppose anyone cares but I’ll never be back.More

What a great seafood restaurant. Its been in the same family since 1964. The son runs it now but Mama is still in the kitchen. A seafood feast but best done Greek still. Order dishes for the table for everyone to share. Fresh fish is...chosen from inside the restaurant. I'd recommend a whole fish for the table. A great experience in a lovely setting.More

The resort of Kavos gets some bad press. We went with an open mind . We are an older couple and we loved it. The long Sandy beaches ideal for long walks . The warm shallow sandy bay ideal for a splash about. It is...perfectly possible to find accommodation away from the noisier party central. Would recommend this part of Corfu for its unique qualities. Most of the island is rocky, stony and not always easy to swim .More

The taverna is at ground level and so are the toilets. There is a ramp access outside to the "terrace" and 1 step to enter inside. It should not be a problem.
