I had a lunch at taverna Apella, during the second week of August. The meal was good. The menu is quite simple typical of a Greek taverna. The staff very efficiently. The level price comparison of the one of other local taverna, seems a bit high. Very nice the view from the taverna👍🏻

Apella is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe Taverna is the only restaurant nearby. It doesn't take a genius to do the math. Food quality is bad and the prices are unreasonable. Don't waste your time and money. Just drive to Pigadia.

Food was so bad taste that we can not eat it. I told manager that the meat is not ok and he offended me very bad and he wouldn' t even consider that I would pay for something that wasn't even for garbage. He called me bad names and made a scene in front of other people because he wanted... More

We went there as it is the only taverna available in Apella beach (BTW a wonderful beach). Unfortunately, we found it at the lower end of the rank as food quality and quite expensive; for two appetizer, a bottle of water and a vegetarian main course (briam with goat cheese) we spent 27,90 Euros.

As this was the only restaurant situated in close proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Apella, we thought we would give it a try. The lady serving us was very polite and helpful. The food came very quickly which was surprising considering the number of customers. In hindsight, this probably was because everything was preprepared. The... More

I was there on 8/5/2015 for lunch. The Chicken lemon soup and also the Lentil soup were very good. I had the Gyro and my wife had the sausage and beef platter. Although these dishes were very tasty the meat was dry as if they reheated it on the grill. I ate Gyro's at other Greek places the meat was... More

We had lunch here around 2, and the place was full. The quality of the food and the service reflected this crowded space. I think you should either go there around 12 or after 3. The view was nice.

1. Food was musty a) The salad was cut from the morning. We ate in the afternoon. b) Chicken with rice was heated in the microwave and the sauce had become gel. 2. When we told to the owner our complaints, he tried to get us mad and told us that everything was fresh! 3. Rude tavern owner

Taverna is a great place to eat some meal or drink something in Apella beach. Menu is classic (sandwiches, salads, burgers, few greek dishes) but foor is well prepared and delicious.
