The food is really good and fresh but the service unfortunately below the standards. Firstly we had to wait really long before we got noticed (there was no reason not to notice us, we were trying hard to establish eye contact etc). We did not get what we ordered (salad, water) but it did featured in our bill (that we... More

We have been to a few restaurants in Abrigos, it is a tourist trap, but with that knowledge, go and enjoy. Perla del Mar is a quality fish restaurant where you choose your fish from the chiller and they cook it simply for you. Ask to see the fish weighed as ours appeared to have been overweighed v the bill, that... More

This restaurant is popular and crowded because of its prime position overlooking the harbour. It seems to rely on its past reputation but frankly this place is past its best. For tourists, be aware that the owners and staff speak only Spanish so if you don't make the effort to try to communicate in Spanish you might find the service... More

The worst Pulpo a la Gallega I have ever eaten - 5 or 6 little pieces . We normally go to the restaurant next door but as it was closed thought we would try this one.......never again!

We were here last night after much debate, lots of lovely restaurants along the sea front. Wonderful view of the harbour :-) My Garlic King prawns, Canadian potatoes and mixed salad were excellent, I could happily eat it all over again today. We also ordered Fillet steak to be cooked Medium, unfortunately it was a little under done and came... More

I'm always reluctant to leave bad reviews but I think it's important to give to orders users a honest review... I went with my husband for lunch, we were placed at a table outside with a nice view but the bad issue here was that they permit a homeless cat to be in the restaurant asking for food(don't get me... I asked what fresh fish was available and was pointed in the direction of the seafood mixed grill, which was very tasty. Side order of Canarian potatoes (plenty of them) and mixed salad (nicely done). Waiter was a bit brusque but this doesn't really bother me as long as the food is good. Nice view of the harbour as well.

I first visited Perla about 35 years ago, in those days you took with you a fly swotter and a pack of butter, which was not available in the restaurant at the time. Set in a perfect position with views over the harbour this restaurant continues to serve really excellent fresh whole fish plus a wide variety of fishy tapas.... More

After having a lovely experience with my husband in April, I took a friend on Tuesday. It was appalling. Bread mojo sauce was thrown on the table, followed by a 30 min. wait for starters, which was four slices of tomato and half an avocado between the two of us. We then waited a further 30 mins for our mains.... More

Here on holiday and had a hire car so doing a bit of exploring, came across this place and so glad we did. Had read mixed reviews but given the location looking directly out over a small harbour where the local children were jumping in the water, we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! We all...
