Good fish restaurant with a deserved reputation. We all enjoyed our choices but i felt it just missed, relative to , say, the best fish restaurants in other locations, including London. And nowhere in Norway is cheap, so that has to be taken into account! So just don't over-expect.

This place was recommended to is by local friends. We went there for a family dinner. Fish and chips was very tasty, also seafood soup (rather cream) was great, then we can highly recommend Cod and Ling. Service very nice, good advice when comes to wine selection. And the location and view from the restaurant is very pleasant.

A real treat, this restaurant and its neighboring bar with deck terrace and wonderful view. Well serviced (thanks again Marcus), good food and wine. The fish soup was a bit dull according to my taste, but fine. The atmosphere is a bit posh.

We ordered the classic fish soup and another fish dish. They were both excellent. With a nice view of Henningsvær from our table, it was a very nice experience. The service was also very good. Probably the best restaurant in Henningsvær. Although the manu could have been even more spectacular, Fiskekrogen offers a sough after experience that shouldn't be missed... More

If you come to Henningsvær, treat yourself well and visit Fiskekrogen for a good dinner. We had fish soup, the rare fish "lange" and creme brule. A perfect dinner. Good service, good atmosphere, good guests and good hosts. What more can you expect?

It can be that this restaurant suffers from lack of staff in high season: we got the starter as expected, but then it all stopped up and we got main course more than an hour after we ordered it after having asked for it. When this happened I had myself to say to the waitress, who was albeit kind but... More

Since the place had so many good reviews, it was a natural choice for our one night stay in Henningsvær. Sadly it did not live up to our expectations at all. The food was avrage, with a lack of creativity and flavour. The shellfish soup and the Kveite were over cooked. The only good experience we had was the sashimi... More

We ate lunch here twice, and both meals were excellent. They have a very limited menu - the sign of a confident chef, and everything on it was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. The stylish restaurant, built out over the harbour, has delightful views of the port. Best restaurant in Lofoten.

We visited Fiskekrogen following recommendations by locals and found the place highly attractive and well worth a visit. The fish soup is legendary, very interesting and pleasant taste with discrete hints of root vegetables in a creamy appearance, parsnip, nettle? I do not know but it was wonderful. For those who accept controlled huting on whales, the cured whale steak... More
