Friendly staff. Busy and a bit slow. Nice food but not great. Could use more spices. Small portions. A bit pricy. Nice athmosphere and view.

Amazing location, excellent food, really good service! Would also recommend Nord, the new bar! Have been at Fiskekrogen several times and it is always a pleasure to visit!

We had a prime table and friendly staff, but the food was just average. It was tasty enough but nothing special. Worth it for the setting though.

Fiskekrogen is beautifully situated by the water in Henningsvær. We had a fantastic shellfish soup and a cod main course (Ekte Lofottorsk, født i Henningsvær, as the old children's song goes). Super service, excellent wine and fabulous food as local as it gets. Worth a trip in its own.

It is the best restaurant in Heningvær for position, food, service and opening hours (till after 10 pm). Here you can experience some local food like smoked whale and cod tongues. Obviously the fish is very fresh, try the salmon and halibut sashimi. Apart from fish, the local lamb is absolutely stunning. Winelist with a few expensive choices. It is... More

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at this close to sea side restaurant with Business colleagues from Romania. We had of course sea food, namely the fish long (lange på norsk). It was prepared in an excellent manner, and white wine was of course available (not tasted). Seems to be very popular, so book in advance!

I ordered cod tongues for a late lunch, and they were absolutely delicious. My best meal in Lofoten. And the location is beautiful. However - one draw back: I ordered a small beer and the waiter (Danish) did not ask what kind of beer I wanted so I thought I would get a draft beer. I got a small bottle... More

Don't miss this pearl of a gourmet restaurant in Henningsvær far out on the coast of Lofoten - all ingrediens are catched right outside the door! And both chefs are making all dishes with their souls! Reasonable pricing - this is value for money. All tables overlooking the small canal and harbour, surroundings stunning! See examples of cod and chocolate... More

It is in a very good location with the view of the channel with the "rorbuer". We got salmon and halibut sashimi as a starter. The salmon was very good, as it always is in this country, but the halibut was even better. The mussels were just OK. Cod was perfect. No need for much seasoning, it was so fresh... More

Restaurant offers views of the charming harbor and a limited menu, from which I chose the cod (more exotic choices included cod tongues and whale steak). The fish was perfectly prepared, delicious, and attractively presented; as were the accompanying potato wedge and veggies. Nor did the price for such an excellent meal ($47., including a glass of wine) exactly break... More
