Very good place to enjoy local food

It was a quite a surprise to visit this place. The restaurant is the place local Thai people to go. Very good price and good food with full of local flavours!

Its all about the food in this Lamai Seafood restaurant. Its consistant, and dinners are very busy always. Food is fresh and manu wide. Wine list is extensive ranging from THB900 upwards per bottle. It does serve the best Poo Phat Pong Kari in Samui.

The seafood is great but some menus are a little expensive, but still good that there are non-seafood menus. Staff MUST be more attentive and focus on what they are there for. Service must be improved. Glass of water are not refilled. One staff served our Tom Yum Goong but she was also laughing with her friends' joke. Some equipments... More

We walked in off the beach, with little notice a table for eight overlooking the water was arranged quickly and efficiently - on a reasonably busy night. The service was terrific, seafood is a speciality and we mostly stuck to that, the food was authentic (according to someone in our party who should know) and it was not an expensive... More

Fabulous food, but due to its vast size and that fact that tourism is down by 20%, felt. Bit like you were sitting in a canteen.

Good view and nice Thai food. They have a lot of different dishes and lot of seafood. The waiter was nice and the service quick. Ask for a table close to the beach.

At first glance, the restaurant did not seem as I later concluded to be really great. This was great authentic Thai food, and at a very reasonable price. The food itself was of good quality and absolutely delicious. It is a local restaurant, and not touristy, which was a breath of fresh air.

Food was poor. The one redeeming dish was their signature seafood salad that was excellent. Setting lovely and wine list solid. Service average but not bad. The bhoput address is better food than the Lamai address.

We enjoyed the seafood here. Had the lobster and snapper. Good service. Went for dinner and there was a noisy table next to us. Staff was courteous. They noticed this and offered to move us.
