Not sure why the rave reviews must be middle class people who like slumming it to get down with the peeps. However it's good value if you like the greasy spoon vibe, the house wine is very tasty and if you are middle class it would cost £20 in waitrose x

It was well worth the walk down all the steps into the village for supper here. There are several eating places in Playa de Santiago and we just picked this one on the recommendation of someone we chatted to while sitting on a bench. The restaurant is decorated with mosaic to great effect. Service was friendly and attentive. We selected... More

Stopped here for a drink after a long walk in the sun. The decor is basic but it is a beach bar! Good ambience and good views over the sea. The service was pleasant. We only had a drink or two but all the food looked delicious when it was brought out .

Beach bar offering coffee with food from 12 mid day to 4pm. Gets very busy and you may have to wait for a table. Fresh fish daily with salads, prawns in garlic, ham and tomato salad, grilled chicken and very good value. Quite rustic but made very welcome.

Done be put off by the basic decor and under publicised frontage . It is a little gem ! Start off by sitting next to the ocean on one of the small tables and enjoy a jug of white sangria- their own recipe and delicious . Then take a few steps back to the covered terrace and feast on the... More

We have eaten in this lovely restaurant 3 times now during our holiday. With any luck we will manage once more before we go home! The fish is so fresh and beautifully cooked, and the setting on the beach is wonderful. It's very good value and the staff are all friendly.

Some friends who have visited before recommended this restaurant and so we decided to try it. It is tucked away from the main run of restaurants along the promenade and you wouldn't come across it unless you were looking for it. It was full when we arrived but luckily someone was leaving and we got a table. The restaurant is... More

This is a beach bar overlooking the ocean, with half of the seating/dining area on the sand. The staff were friendly, we were seated quickly and the service was prompt. We both chose fish dishes and both were very good.

This year we arrived on Valentines Day and made a beeline for this colourful beach restaurant in warm sunshine. The guy in charge professed to remember us and offered 4 fish of the day choices but it had to be the fresh tuna served with a little green mojo sauce a bit of salad and a few Canarian potatoes. What... More

Delicious food, friendly service and great value. We devoured calamari, perfect grilled sardines and croquetas, washed down with several beers and all the while facing the sea in hot sunshine. It doesn't get any better than that.
