Perfect boozer - the best in Richmond and whilst a bit 'gastro' has managed to keep from being too pretentious - still my favourite in Richmond and 100% in the best position in the town on the corner of the beautiful green - always friendly,...efficient service with great beer.More

Went there with an old school friend who recommended this as the best Fullers pub and local to the brewery. I wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly and knowledgeable about beer. Served the best draught ESB I’ve ever tasted. London Pride excellent as well. Had their rump...steak for lunch which was cooked to perfection. Will be back soon.More

Came here with my girlfriend and had to wait a fair while to order. I went to the bar to find a waiter.... they were very apologetic and gave us a drink on the house which we both thought was extremely generous! We ordered burgers...1 chicken and 1 beef and they were delicious! Just what we needed. We’re moving to Richmond soon and will no doubt become regulars because of this experience - thank you !More

Roasts in here are great washed down with a few pints of pride, and the only pub in Richmond that serves cauliflower cheese with their roast which is a plus. Friendly staff, great location. As with most Fullers pubs, quality of the food is always...good here.More

Popped here for a quick flyer with s lips and we had to give our life laundry for the old track and trace before we were seated. Fair play this is the norm these days, but some drunk bloke was allowed to come in and...use the toilet without giving any details. If anyone had a super spreading vibe about them it was him rather than us. The same could be said for locals as we seemed to be the only people they took details from so it was all very inconsistent. The pub is decent and have been many times over the years. However, this time round it felt a bit soulless and there were a load of rules we had to abide by which didn’t seem to apply to most other patrons. Place has potential but we only stayed for one as there are plenty of better pubs locally. Would be ok for a quick drink or if you had an outside table, although I wouldn’t go out my way to return. Be more consistent chaps otherwise non regulars will feel like they have different rules to everyone else.More

The Princes Head is back open & it’s even better than ever! The same friendly, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food & drinks remains, but the renovation looks super smart, especially the toilets which has made a huge difference. I had a charming evening dinner date night...& the staff so chatty & relaxed made the whole COVID new set up easy to understand & didn’t make a big deal about it. Did I mention the location? After dinner we stepped outside to the sun setting over the green whilst people sat watching the cricket. Perfect. Thank you for being the only pub that is consistently decent...this is hard to find. Highly recommend to all!More

We decided to drop into the Prince's Head after a long walk. Silly us, we'd forgotten that there was a Six Nations game on at Twickenham late that afternoon and the place, not surprisingly, was rammed. Nevertheless, the super-helpful Ronnie was able to find us...a table (that had been reserved for some no-shows) and, with Emily, looked after us superbly. Despite being incredibly busy, everything ran beautifully - well done everyone: bar, kitchen and waiting staff. Oh, and the London Pride was spot on and the food excellent.More

A great Sunday roast in a traditional pub. A mix of visitors and locals just a stones throw from the river Thames and Richmond Green. Great roast. Amazing staff.

Well when we visited there was a family with a young boy eating. The lunch menu is sandwiches and chips which would suit a child.
