This spot is the Disneyland of Milos with its colourful fisherman’s huts and instagram tastic photo ops. But the true star is the village resto and their grilled squid. Morning noon or night, come, eat, ignore the idiots taking snaps everywhere and promise you’ll come...back one day to do it all again for posterity.More

Since you have to visit Klima, you have to go to this restaurant, preferably by the sunset. But it is not only for great views but also the food is good regardles of the restaurant being large by any standards. I was expecting expeience of...three, but I got much more.More

very good food, flexible staff, good prices, excellent location right by the sea, recommended! If you don't have prior reservation the table directly by the water are not available, but the ones just a little bit further still with wonderful sea views are not a...problem.More

We enjoyed a very late lunch/early dinner right on the sea front. We had views of the sea, the amazing colourful fisherman's huts and enjoyed a wonderful sunset. The food and service was incredible and this is by far our favourite restaurant.

Hungry after an impromptu trek from Ancient theater to Klima, the small fishing village, we stopped at Astakas as it was the first restaurant we saw from the stairs (and the only one in the village actually) and we loved it! We took the saganaki...shrimps and the beef in beer, both dishes were really tasty and well served! We also took fried zucchinis and got to take half the plate home as we were full and they were very well served. A lot of people stopped by just for drinks and a plate of fries while we were eating. We ended up waiting for the sunset on the beach, taking photos, and came back at Astakas, ordered iced coffees and a chocolate tart (that is a delicious chocolate cake not a tart) to share for the sunset and it was magical! Price was fair and reasonable, a gem of a place!More

Ease your way down the narrow, winding road to Klyma and Astakas is unmistakeable, with a very prominent location by the seafront. We went for lunch and loved it - didn't expect such creative food - exciting dishes, well presented and well priced. I can...imagine in the evenings it's truly romantic. The theme-park blue and yellow fishing boat models at the entrance may not be to everyone's taste, but we found them charming - and who cares, we were there for the food and atmosphere. Service wasn't the most focused, but who's in a hurry on a hot August afternoon in Milos? Wander around the corner and there's a dinky row of brightly coloured fishermen's cottages, some of them selling nautical bric-à-brac and decorative items. Strongly recommended.More

Recommended by a local, this restaurant is by the sea in Klima, just a few steps away from the characteristically fishing houses. Is an al-fresco dining restaurant and with one of the best views of the sunset. The food couldn't be fresher and more delicious....Great options of freshly caught fish. Ask your server for what is fresh. Service is really good and so are the prices. Is definitely not a tourist trap.More

Fantastic location right next to the sea shore in this small very colorful village. This is not to be missed. The kitchen is good - somehow refined.

This is without a doubt the beat fish restaurant on the island. The service is excellent and the fish is as fresh as it gets.

The coffee was awful, even in london there is better espresso. Considering food there was only one option, eggs. There was exactly like i cooked them the first time i cooked by myself, extremely oilly and almost burned. Although the place is great i can't...understand what they were thinking about breakfastMore

I guess when you're there you can ask around on the island. The season on most islands starts right after orthodox Easter, so around end April. You should be lucky, fingers crossed!
