Largest restaurant in Bocca di Magra situated in the lovely marina with seaview and view to the mountains. Reasonable priced drinks and usually served with large portions of chip, olives and other good stuff for free. Advanced italian cuisine with a lot of seafood and no pizzas Waiters could be more observant and smile more for the benefit of the... More

Bocca di Magra is a charming spot and a delightful location for a summer meal overlooking the estuary, but you cannot park outside this restaurant and must walk a few minutes from the nearby public car park in order to reach it. Before reaching our table we were mesmerized by the sight of an aquarium full of lunch in the... More

We tried this after much trekking round various places in the area, we weren't really in the mood by the time we got to Ciccios, however, within minutes we changed our attitude, superb food and lovely wine, the seafood misti looked fab and tasted even better, I can't eat seafood so went for the lemon sole - also delicious! Really... More

I particularly like this restaurant and anytime I am within 30 miles, I will eat there, passing up many good places, because this is simply the very best. The location, on the river mouth that lets out to the sea; the sculpture park in the garden with famous sculptor's art amongst the tables. The waiters who are happy to serve... More

This fabulous restaurant overlooks pristine gardens and a marina with the beautiful white marble mountains of Carrara in the distance. Some must try dishes are the raw scampi if you can get them, the spaghetti vongole, one of the best fritto mistos ever and an awesome dessert trolley. Service is professional and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

We visited for lunch and really enjoyed our experience. I had langoustines with olives and tomatoes and Mr B had clams followed by prawns with a vegetable salad. The seafood was very fresh, and the service was friendly. Highly recommend.

I'm usually sceptical about scathing reviews if the majority are positive but cannot help but add comments on this occasion. We visited late July for a dinner and, as frequent visitors to Italy, will not return. My wife had pasta with bolognese sauce which, while uninspiring, was acceptable. I had spaghetti with "lobster sauce" which was actually lobster but, regrettably... More

The Fritto Misto here is just so delicious and the view of the harbour just amazing. Been going here for years for lunch and dinners. Staff are just so attentive: we had to dash to airport so had no time for digestifs, so they gave us some limoncello to take with us.
