The restaurant has only 5 tables and the view through the panoramic windows is fantastic.
The decor in a kind of lounge style is very successful, moreover you have sufficient space to the neighboring table

The offer of good restaurants with a nice ambience, beautiful views and good food is great in South Tyrol, so we struggled to choose the location for our wedding. But with the Ansitz Rungghof we have found the perfect location. The surroundings as well as the views are incredibly beautiful. The whole handling in advance was straightforward and very cordial. Maria was by our side with every question, met us, gave us great technical advice, put our wishes into practice. We could trust her blindly.
On the wedding day itself everything worked out wonderfully, exactly as discussed everything was implemented. The staff is super, very competent, adequately distanced but very friendly and for fun to have. The rooms were great (but I will never get used to a bathroom with glass panes personally), very clean and well maintained. Breakfast a dream that is truly unforgettable! The selected dinner was super tasty, even if we would decide in retrospect for some other courses. Personally, I thought it was a pity that Manuel never showed up at dinner, his kitchen team would have received a lot of praise from our guests.

Our wish (like last year) to eat on the terrace of the gourmet restaurant was unfortunately denied and we were sent to the “bistro”. Starting with a somewhat unfriendly reception, the statement that the bistro serves the same cuisine as the gourmet restaurant… (definitely not!!) the disappointing evening culminated in verbal accusations (from the restaurant manager Sophia) to me as a guest that I had ordered incorrectly and that it was our own fault…. Menu list with few choices and only in German. Off the menu, no possibility of having another course. Ordered a bottle of wine served by the glass from the bar (was it the one ordered?) Truly an amazing structure! The suites are the highlight, well-kept and modern!
We had the opportunity to enjoy the tasting dinner experience at the restaurant which was of the highest level!!
For those who want to keep fit there is also a small visible gym
Unfortunately the bad weather didn't allow us to enjoy the swimming pool and outdoor wellness areas, but we will definitely be back to try them!

We were here as a family. We were welcomed very courteously and friendly. The room is beautifully and comfortably furnished. We ordered a 6-course menu for ourselves, but there was something different for the children. It was a poem across all the corridors! We had never eaten better before. The children were thrilled, our menu was something new for them, they thought everything they tried was great!
The service was very attentive and friendly! It couldn't be any better! We are really looking forward to our wedding party, it will be fantastic....!!!

We were there for our 30st anniversary. I saw the restaurant and the hotel in the internet and thought, this is might be the right place to celebrate. The view is perfect and the location is in the middle of the vineyard.
The location of the restaurant is also good, the food is Michelin star level. But the service is more than questionable, Hannes - I do think he is the Chef de Rang and Sommelier - was more than awkward and not professional.
After waiting for such a long time, we did complain that our main dish took so long and we didn't get a refill for the wine or would be asked if we would need more water for more than 45 min. When the service arrived again, we did ask for the check and he was more than surprised that customer ask for the check, when it takes so long to clear the table and refill the glass - really ? After we asked for the check, someone - am not talking about the customer - should show interest to solve the situation. This never happened, we did not want to get an apology but it would have been nice. The check in a box, thrown on our table - doesn't sound like "Michelin star".
At the end, the whole experience went into the wrong direction and just due to bad service and that the waiter was insulted - from his point of view.
We got the check with 6 courses and just received 5 - another thing which normally doesn't happen.
Even in our small town, where a good Italien guy is cooking his soul-food - with less expensive prices - is asking you for a last dring on the house, when you got such an experience at a "noble" restaurant.
