Luckily it was a warm sunny day in that location of Iceland. All 8 of us ordered either the lamb soup or the fish soup, with bread. Very tasty, and friendly staff.

Incredibly tasty home-cooked food! The husband and wife owners are delightful and welcoming. What a fantastic local treat! The cod fish hash with homemade bread was outstanding and remarkably filling! Make this a stop for certain!

We stopped at this charming two-story cafe for lunch and coffee during our Golden Circle drive. We had brewed coffee, a ham and cheese panini, and the cauliflower soup - all were delicious and served very quickly! After a long drive, this was exactly the...More

Definitely frozen pizza - bland with burnt crust. Also had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich - all bland, overpriced but edible. Not recommend. Cute atmosphere though.

A nice little place, nicely located by the sea, and with some interesting history, but we got plant cream and fake chocolate with our waffles.

Went there with a friend for a dinner. Great atmosphere and service. The food is good. The patio is facing south, blocking the north wind so if there is sun at all it is the place to visit!

After reviewing all of our options in the area we settled with this little cafe. Everything is a bit pricy, which is just expected in Iceland. We got the cheapest panini sandwiches (about USD$17 each) which were decent. The staff were super friendly. I tried...More

On a chilly May morning this place offered good coffee and bakery items at the going rate with good conversation. The owner spoke of how she and her husband converted the former farm building into a well decorated and comfy coffee shop. Tables, couches, and...More

We were just on our way to the south and we stopped by this lovely cafe for a coffee, but the food they offered was so good that we ended up having lunch there. Very well recommended.
