When looking a the pics and seeing a bar with a pool table and a big TV screen you would expect pub food. However, here we had fantastic fish! The cod was the best we had in 10 days on Iceland and the home smoked...salmon was outstanding!More

Just as soon as we came there the waitress was very nice, offered us to sit inside or outside. Was very polite and understanding. But the salmon was the best i ever had, so juicy and everything with it was great, the homesmoked salmon was...good and the chocolate cake was fantastic. Price was not very high if you think about how much food you get on your plates 😁 Definitely will we come back again in future 👍More

Best salmon in Iceland! Superb lamb. All in a warm and hospitable setting where our hostess proceeded to make my day with a surprise gift as we were leaving. Thanks so much. Highly recommended.

Really great restaurant -- smoked salmon starter has unusual flavor -- we chose the lamb and the cod, both were exceptional. Good service in a friendly atmosphere, the chef waved to us from the kitchen. Small selection of wine -- we liked the Rioja from...Spain. The large pool table inside added character -- families with very small children sat outside in the patio area. All in all, a great restaurant.More

This restaurant is a must visit if your are in the Dalvik area. The food is amazing I had smoked salmon that is prepared by the chef in a smoker outside daily and is out of this world. Friendly owner who cares about the food...and his guests. Great drinks and cold beer. Very happy with running into this location while we have been here, we will be back!More

We went there today with 3 kids and we were NOT WELCOMED. Owner told us that he doesn't have empty tables while half of the restaurant was empty and told us to go. He said that people are eating here and babies are interrupting! We...will definitely never go there again.More

The best lamb i ever eat with a very tasty sauce. The menu was small, but i like if the cook have a focus and not 20 different dishes. Thank you!

We had dinner here our first night in Dalvik and as we walked in we werent to sure after seeing the pool table but after sitting back for awhile it creates a very relaxed atmosphere. We both ordered lamb for dinner and we well surprised...when we started our meal. With out exaggeration we both agreed it was one of the best lamb meals we had had. It was simply delicious. The owners were wonderful with their service and we defiantly walked away happy with our evening. I can't vouch personally but a few of the locals said the salmon was excellent. We would certainly dine here again.More

A surprisingly good meal, in a town with limited options. Enjoyed the cod immensely. Good, hearty, wholesome and fresh food. Went back a second time.

My family and I visited Gregor’s a number of times during our long weekend whale watching in Dalvík. He was one of the most welcoming hosts we have ever come across, and also a great cook! We first went there for a couple of drinks...on day one and he made a great impression on us. On day two, after a long day of whale tours and driving, we arrived at Gregor’s at around 11pm and were very hungry. Although the kitchen was officially closed, he was happy to make fresh Cod and Chips for 5. It was the best meal of our trip!! If you are in northern Iceland, make sure you stop in for a beer, dinner and a game of pool at Gregor’s!!More
