We are really glad that we chose Vaughans. It was a blustery evening and we could stay right there for drinks and dinner. We had oysters and fish - and it turns out the chef is well-recognized in the area. Keith checked us in and...More

When you arrive at this place, it looks from the outside like any little pub in Ireland, but the food is amazing! Their fish dishes are spectacular - it's a family business and the chef is one of the sons, who trained in Paris, and...More

Great food, especially the local crab, and fish and chips. Good bar as well. Friend had langostines which was also excellent. Definitely recommend this place

The fish and chips was good however the langoustine tagliatelle was disappointing. The tagliatelle was advertised as home made but it clearly was not as it was overcooked and bland. The service was average but what ruined our visit was a waitress vacuuming right in...More

Went for lunch;nice location, had fish and chips very good;however owner very grumpy with poor manners considering people paying good money .Further, service slow also not busy at time of visit;may not return not with the attitude.

We were staying nearby and a friend had recommended Vaughans so the 4 of us tried it out for dinner. So glad we did. The food was so fresh with very effecient and friendly staff. We ended up coming back for 2 more dinners.

Went here expecting something to eat (as you do!) but when one of us was a vegan it was green salad only or get out! Couldn't stir fry veg, make potatoes make rice etc! Would advise the chef you can hear him being grossly offensive...More

We had great fish and chips and friendly service from our waitress Eileen. The chowder was just so so, but the fish and chips serving was plentiful and tasty, could probably be split at lunch by a couple. The chips were very tasty also.

I can surely recommend this place, for the best fish & chips I have ever had (OK, let's say ranking the top three)! The place is nice, kid's menu (plus a wonderful aquarium that keeps busy the kids while waiting the dishes) and service is...More
