The restaurant looks really nice and the food is really good and fresh. The only bad thing are the prices. For a starter to share (3 people), 2 local beers and one unsweetened tea we ended up paying 17 USD. Main dishes for 2 people start at 43 USD and can go up to 110 USD. If you are in America or Europe you can expect these prices in very good restaurants, but you are in Vietnam where prices for a really good meal for one can cost you 12 USD MAX.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Vietnam.
What we get is a large mixed bowl plenty for 2 people ...of cooked crabs, corn on the cob, huge prawns (the size of your hand), potatoes, all seasoned in the house sauce ...and super fresh crusty baguette on the side.
You can swap the prawns for squid there is a variety of options of seafood around 15 different combinations and sauces.
If like us your are not one for breaking the crab shells -the staff will happily do it for you.
It’s a well laid out super clean air conditioned restaurant your not sat on top of each other!
It’s located next to the night market in town.

We have chosen Combo #4 which includes king crab legs, 6 king prawns, corn and potatoes in a tasty sauce serves in a big pot. All tasted very good. The staff was very kind and professional. All in all a wonderful evening however a bit on the expensive side.

Reasonable good seafood but lacks the local vietnamese vibe. It’s more a kind of western fast food specialized in shellfish, crabs, lobster and so on. Prices are very high - a seafood buffet dinner at our 5* resort had the same price tag. Service is ok and the staff tries its best to make you a happy client.

The setting and welcome are great ,setting you up for what I'd hoped would be an outstanding meal. My daquiri was great packing a punch and the food looked great on arrival. The disappointment lay in what was supposed to be a lemongrass and garlic flavour was totally overwhelmed by a overpowering Cajun flavour. I didn't eat and ended up hungry,disappointed and considerably poorer. Can't fault the service though, the staff were all lovely.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Cracked our crab at the table (on request). Crab and shrimp were really lovely and cooked to perfection with an excellent house sauce. We had 1 x pot of snow crab legs, blue crab and shrimp, which comes with corn on the cob and greens and a few new potatoes. I had a cocktail and my husband had one beer. The cost was £134. You wouldn't pay that much in London. Highly overpriced. Would not return

The Crab House was our big date night in PQ. Very enjoyable setting.
Get the buttery garlic bread first. To die for. But I ate it too quickly and when I wanted more, I ended up with a plain loaf.
My wife and I splurged on shrimp and shared a lobster with garlic butter. A good call. A little over 3M VND. But we don’t have lobster often.
The owner is an affable guy, a Vietnamese who returned to PQ after many years in the US. I commented that he was especially generous with his paper towels.
Closed Tuesdays.

We heard about Crab House from friends who recommended it and ended up going twice during our stay in PQ. It did not disappoint despite a limited menu at the moment - due to Covid most likely. The crabhouse sauce was so good and goes perfectly with the baguettes. Even if you're not a crab fan, this restaurant is still one to try as there are other seafood options. Some of our friends who came with us aren't the "peel-em" type but they found enough items to enjoy and came away already planning their next visit.

What a horrible experience! We drove 30 minutes from our hotel, my husband and four small children and even though they had steak and pasta they would not adapt to serving it without the seafood even if we insisted we would be happy to pay for the same without the seafood added! As clearly the children did not eat shrimp nor crab. The lovely staff tried there best and after i much insisted they called the manager. I wish they had not becasue The manager Kim was the rudest person i have encountered in a very long time! She literally asked me why i had gone there if my children couldn’t eat seafood! She was so rude and spoke to me so badly i honestly felt like crying, my husband and i where so looking forward to a lovely sea food extravaganza and all the rest could have been so easily arranged… i feel sorry for the owners and the rest of the staff of this place they lost a lot of money which i am sure could have been helpful to there economy, and worst i feel sorry for my family because they ruined the only night we decided to leave our lovely hotel to experience the local life! Kim i feel very sorry for anyone that has to work for you or eat at your place

the food was amazing
each flavour was a hit and tasted authentic
the seafood was perfectly cooked, not rubbery or raw. crawfish was not as fresh as i would have liked however understandable given it is imported and not grown in Vietnam.
Owner of restaurant was extremely friendly - came out for a chat and gave us a free shot of alcohol
I dare say the food at the crab house was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam and i would definitely be coming back with the family !!!

Great seafood restaurant right next to Duong Duong night market.
Modern fit out (est 2015), just a street back from the night market, reminds me of a bubba gump in Asia.
Food was great and fresh and decently priced, 500g of crawfish for less than $20, a good amount of crab meat with rice for $15, green lipped mussels, crabs, prawns, and plenty more.
Definitely one of the nicest and best spots for food in the area.

This restaurant was worth the hype. The service was excellent, and the seafood was fresh, well-cooked, and tasty. Staffs can speak good English so a plus point for foreigners. If going to this restaurant during the peak season, a reservation will save you a lot of waiting time.

Tasty fish and seafood dishes , always cooked perfectly. Nice service , a pretty restaurant and good ambience if a little pricy. They have a bakery van outside too, yummy pies and cookies!

Chicken wings to start with. They were delicious, but we probably didn't really need them when we saw the huge bowl of crab, prawns, lobster etc arrive. It was a sharing platter, i forget which one. Anyway, quality was excellent and the broth/sauce it was cooked in was mega.
Staff were great and clearly proud of their offering.
Authentic Vietnamese, i guess not. One of the best restaurants we ate at in 2 weeks, definitely. Go.

Food is not bad.
But the price is too expensive.
My daughter and I ordered just 1 menu and some drinks. It's over 2.2 mil VND.
It's almost 100 USD.
You can find many good and much more cheaper seafood bbq restaurant in duong dong area.
