This is a very charming and romantic place. Sitting at the colonial style veranda, enjoying the seabreeze and have some good dinner. They serve Vietnamese food mainly, which we all enjoyed. Part of the La Verdana resort.

We stayed at the La Veranda hotel, towards the end of our three week tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. We ate for the duration of our stay in the restaurant and glad we did. It may be a bit expensive but you really do get what you pay for. The meals prepared by the French chef and his team were... More

Seeking a fine dining experience on an island full of cafés we decided upon giving this restaurant in Le Veranda resort a go. All courses were beautifully presented from fresh seafood to a crepe suzette and served by well trained staff, an extensive wine list that's reasonably priced for this part of the world. All up worth five stars in... More

Very elegant restaurant. Had a couple of beers in beach bar next door to watch the sunset and then moved to restaurant. Great food, then could hear a live band playing gently downstairs. Played covers brilliantly. Our favourite meal of the trip. Also had a table tennis table and dominoes to enjoy

This was my favorite dining experience in PhuQuoc and possibly one of the top from my travels around the world. The hotel grounds is stunning, beautiful gardens and sunset. I imagined myself brought back into the Indochine era. The restaurant building has a beautiful lounge area designed in a colonial bungalow style. Muted and seductive colours. We were seated at... Food was fresh and tasty. A lovely meal. Absolutely beautiful setting- lovely French style building among beautiful gardens. Unfortunately just very overpriced. We were happy to pay more, being a beautiful fine dining restaurant, but the added taxes AND service charges on top made its super pricey meal. $600,000 for fresh spring rolls, beef noodles, and two iced coffees.

Dear xyzclaret, It was a pleasure to have you dining with us during your recent vacation on Phu Quoc island. I'm delighted to read how you found our cuisine to be so "fresh and tasty" especially in such beautiful surroundings with "french architechture and beautiful gardens". In our restaurant, all food is fresh and is cooked a la minute with... More

We had dinner three times during our stay in La Veranda resort. The service is very good, the atmosphere is romantic. The food is pricey as well as the drinks but it worthy comparing to what you get here as well as other restaurants in the island. This restaurant is one of the best on Phu Quoc or it was... More

We had a lovely dinner here. As with everywhere in Vietnam the portions are enough to feed two but the food was delicious and great variety. Prices close to London though (1 starter, 2 mains, 1 pud and a bottle of house wine was £100) but nice for a change and you do get what you pay for. Friendly staff.... More
