Hands down the best spot for breakfast on the island, maybe even in Vietnam! Seriously though, get the pineapple pancakes, you will not be disappointed. Service is great and the shop itself is nice and air conditioned. A bit pricier but you're on an island so it makes sense. Don't forget to take your shoes off before you come in!

I have been visiting Alanis every chance I can get whenever I visit Phu Quoc these past two years. The friendly and quick service is just phenomenal. The food does take a while to prepare, but it is worth the wait. I personally enjoy their plain fries due to their seasoning. Highly recommend the tiramisu frappe, tropical fruit punch, cappuccino... Visited late on a Tuesday night as I was planning to order their famous pancakes. Unfortunately, I was way too full after pigging out on their food to order any dessert. The club sandwich was nice here and I enjoyed the spring rolls. The frappes here are scrumptious (especially the Baileys ones) so I'd recommend picking up one of those... More

My husband and I came here one day to plan out the next destination of our trip. We had spring rolls and some smoothies. Everything was great. We especially appreciated the AC as we were in the cafe for a few hours and it was a nice break from the heat.

A good selection of sandwichs and other western-style dishes, plus a selection of deserts, coffee drinks both hot and cold and a good cocktail menu too. It's not easy to find a cool, quiet cafe on the main drag, but Alanis is it.

We had a quick stop for a coffee and some food, the staff is really nice, and although he didn't speak English he managed to help us. Food was good and drinks too. A bit more expensive then everywhere else, but I think it was fair!

Amazing pancakes. After travelling SE Asia for 2 months it was soooo nice to have real, buttery, fluffy western style pancakes. A little pricier than a typical Vietnamese breakfast but so worth it.

Having seen the good reviews and as it was close to my hostel, I went here for breakfast. I was there quite early and no other guest was there, so I wasn't quite sure whether they were already open or not. They were and I tried their pancakes and coffee. The pancakes were okay and the coffee was tasty -... More
