In the tiny little village of Merklingen lies this charming little restaurant. However, the food was a disappointment, with bland schnitzel that needed some ketchup to spice things up. It was accompanied by soggy french fries. Very average food.

We ordered an appetizer for green olives filled with anchovies and garlic bread, main-dish: iberico meat with chorizo sauce & pan fried vegetables!
Everything was delicious, will come back again.

Reserved by phone - with a real person. For 12 (!) people who had traveled from all over Germany for a family celebration. We found ourselves standing in front of a locked door! Neither on the website nor here (there was a green glowing "open") was there any mention of this unexpected closure. I only received a confirmation of my reservation by email. Thank you for this unsuccessful evening and the embarrassment!!
