We went here just after lockdown so it wasn’t busy but would be different at full capacity. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and well cooked. Good choice of fish and various sides. If you’re going to Oistins I’d definitely go...to Uncle George.More

Went with friends... the first night we ate at a restaurant near the apartment we were staying but heard about George’s and decided to eat there the second night. And OH MY GOODNESS! We ate there every night until we left 3 days later. The...shrimp, lobster, snapper and barracuda were amazing! And the side dishes, especially the rice were very good! Def a must when in BarbadosMore

Friday night fish fry has a great atmosphere, but expect paper plates and a long wait. But great atmosphere. Do try another night when you get a quicker service , a plate and always great food at a reasonable price for Barbados. Try the locals...favourites which are cheaper like marlin( like a fish steak) or delicious flying fish. Comes with salad, Home made tartare sauce. You can choose fry’s, garlic potatoes (yummy) . macaroni pie, rice and beans . Cheap bears at 3.50 for banks . We loved it here , the best in OistinsMore

For a different kind of experience try Uncle George. The atmosphere is a bit manic on a Friday, but still great fun. We walked around to see what was happening and decided to try Uncle George as it seemed so popular. You can see the...food being grilled so know it's fresh. We had been told by many of the staff at our hotel that this was one of the best and used by themselves. We queued up at first, but seeing there was a table free, sat down. There was not long to wait to get a waitresses attention for our order. During our wait for the food to be brought to us we were able to buy beers at the bar opposite. When the food arrived it was plentiful and hot. We can say the Barracuda, Snapper and Shrimp was tasty. Afterwards it was nice to walk through the crowds to the gift stalls and to watch the dancing at the stage area.More

was a mistake to go there. the place is mainly for tourists and quality price does not match. scrimps grilled too long and dry... lobster terrible chewy and not good at all. overall disappointing but seems to work for mass tourism. we have no issue...to spend more money for good food but the offered stuff did not match with our expectations.More

We spent one night in this area before our return flight home. Uncle George had such outstanding reviews we decided to have dinner there. Once we found it ( tucked between other outdoor diners) we realised why it was so popular. Great food, a good...ambiance ( we didn’t go on the most popular night, Friday) pleasant staff and reasonable prices. I had marlin & garlic potatoes with coleslaw & tartare sauce. Divine! My husband had swordfish with all the fixins. Soooo good.More

Best marlin I ve ever had. I love the macpie(macaroni pie), and the fish was prepared perfect. With a ice cold deputy aside, perfect family dinner

Friday night is crazy packed here. My advice to people going on Friday night is to walk around and see what all the venders are selling before just "being seated". Uncle Georges is one of the first restaurant you come to and they are quick...to seat you, the menu is verbal and they don't quote you prices (which was our fault not to ask). We ordered the lobster and the barracuda and a total of 4 beers. Our bill was $200 Barbadian dollars....the lobster was $100 Barbadian ($50 US). Seemed a little outrageous for a fish fry in cardboard containers. BUT is was very good - just be aware of the pricing. We did go down to the fish market on two other occasions and it was more reasonable and delicious. Perhaps the pricing on Friday night is higher. It was fun - but they serve all nights not just Friday. Also you are seated at tables with other travelers, which we loved meeting some Canadians and a lovely couple from Italy - that is half the fun.More

Would avoid this place. Me and my partner had a rum punch and a lobster with chips each and it came to 300 Barbados. Absolute rip off

They have a daily menu with prices and lobster is served. Very reasonably priced and the best tasting food we had in Oistins. We went more than 5 times!
