Leave lots of time and arrive hungry! A lovely place to drive to from Agadir or stay in Taroudant. The food here is renowned and although it is relatively expensive, it's nothing like London prices!!

Great place to avoid the hustle and bustle of Taroudant. Hotel has a rebounded reputation and whilst I have not stayed there we visited for lunch which was superb. Efficient waiter service which perhaps could do with a bit more of a smile? A beautiful place with some lovely period pieces of furniture. The grounds are delightful , particularly the... More

We did not stay in this hotel, but it seems very upmarket and decor was amazing. We came for an evening meal as we were a little tired of tagines and wanted something different. The restaurant was able to fulfill our hopes although perhaps their idea of quality European Cuisine was a little different to ours. However we were able... More

We had lunch by the swimming pool in this 5 star, famous resort on the outskirts of Taroudant. We had a delicious buffet lunch with fresh fish and a variety of salads. The staff were charming and the setting was exquisite.

Nothing special, except the huge mark up on the Morocco rose, food was much better in the house we rented. Only worth going if you want to see the grounds.

We went there to have dinner, but no one wanted to let us enter, the reason is we did not booked before to arrive. The Manager is a snobby person.. Book well in advance if you really want to get in. Otherwise, you only get in either by invitation or by booking in advance

They say this is the best place to eat - if you can get in. And you only get in either by invitation or if you book well in advance. The food is OK - well good - but the service is so terrible that it undoes all the good feeling one might have got from the food. Lovely setting... More

Eight years ago I spent two nights in La Gazelle D'Or and left convinced that it was about to close down. I was wrong. Yesterday I had lunch there and left with exactly the same feeling. The whole scene is glorious, of course – like a chic French Riviera Hotel in the 1970s – but it lacks animation. There was... More

A lovely looking hotel with rose garden and pool. We were just there for dinner which was lovely although a little more sanitised for the tourists than in Taroudant which some folks may prefer. Very good with friendly service.
