During a 5-night stay at the Hotel Palais Salam in September 2016, my brother and I decided to eat at L'Agence, described in various reviews as the best restaurant in Taroudant. We had walked by this place and liked the looks of it, and we had drinks at a cafe while using the WiFi. We arrived about 7:00 PM and... More

We have been in T for two nights and saw the reviews and it looked a tempting alternative to hotels or street cafes. Unfortunately it was closed (3-5 November at least including a Friday). Ended up having coffees and juices in nearby cafe de Cafés (pictured, restaurant in the background on the corner) and ate in Majhid Mosque instead.

The food is very good (with some interesting variants from the typical morocan fare). The price is also very good and the service is great.

The package tour we were travelling for 19 days in Morocco, organized by Trekking in Morocco, included all our dinners. Having walked by this restaurant earlier in the day while on a tour of the medina, and noticing the Trip Advisor recommendation in the front window, we were interested in trying the food when our guide brought us here. We... More

We visited this excellent little restaurant on a Tuesday night. Go early (it opens at 7.30) or book because it was full by 7.50. It is small and intimate with delightful decor. Although busy, the waitress served us speedily and efficiently and with a zen like calm. There was no problem with our children sharing the 3 course set menu... More

It doesn't open until 7 in the evening but this is because the food is all being freshly prepared. costs 120 dirhams for 3 courses. Tangines and in fact everything is delicious!

We had a good meal here with excellent service. The atmosphere is intimate, the clientele European. Despite the French name the food is Moroccan, though perhaps somewhat blander than usual (for perceived European tastes?). The salad was good and the goat tagine tender and delicious, if somewhat lacking in spice. Friends had the chicken Pastilla and praised it highly.

Despite other comments we were not really enthusiastic. Taste was ok, but qtt very small, especially the tagine with Kefta. A three course menu for 120. Staff and decor were good

in the French area of town this cosy restaurant is worth visiting. Few tables so advisable to reserve in advance. We ate a three course set menu for 120 dirhams each. The Moroccan platter of salads of hummus, tapenade , carrot salad, aubergine salad and tomatoes was colourful and tasty. The little hot rolled pastris also delicious. The chicken pastilla... More

We arrived in Taroudant late, tired and hungry and were delighted to be directed to L'Agence, where we were served a light, delicately spiced, delicious dinner, promptly and with charm and discretion. Sadly, the restaurant was closed after this or we would have eaten all our meals there.
