We had the dinner in a private dining room off of the main restaurant, service was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. Started with the pan fried fois gras which was spectacular as it melted in your mouth. Ended with a heavenly chocolate and walnut dessert that seemed light but so tasty. 6 courses total were amazing. So satisfied!

I can think if no better place to be on a summer evening, then by the window of the Fresque, eating the amasing menu 'Esprit du Chef'. The view, food and service were all excellent

After a less than satisfactory flight from London City Airport to Bergerac, There are very few great restaurants in the Dordogne. it was a great relief to arrive at the beautiful Chateau Vigiers. We have eaten many time before on the terrace at the Bistro that overlooks the golf course and the lake. That is good and very reasonable. However,... More

My husband booked this as a surprise birthday treat. It was a truly wonderful experience. Attentive but unobtrusive service with staff who speak English and can help with menu translations. Good but expensive wine list. We chose a special menu with an asparagus and Girrole mushroom theme. Six courses all exquisite.

Les Fresques has begun to offer lunch on selected days. Our meal to day 4th October, was outstanding; local produce beautifully cooked and presented with service of the highest standard, warm and friendly without being aloof or intrusive. We have also had a similar experience when having dinner. A beautiful venue and a lovely experience. Peter

located on the golf resort of "les vigiers" this restaurant got his first star from Michelin and it is worth it, and for a price under the level of a star restaurant?

We chose the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. This is certainly in our top ten meals anywhere. Each course was a treat. Magnifique.

We had 2 dinners on consecutive evenings and both meals were very good and the presentation excellent. The portions are what you would expect for food of this quality i.e. not big but plenty to enjoy and leave the table satisfied. A very friendly and knowledgable sommelier. Only downside was the price of their better quality cognacs - €28 a... More

We did not expect to find such a superb restaurant in this golf resort, and what a pleasant surprise. The star is well deserved: our a la carte selections were delicious, the service was impeccable, and the dining room was tastefully renovated. Unfortunately we visited in early May when it was still too cool in the evening to eat outside,... More

Second time at les Fresques and now one Michelin-star. We had a 3-course menu for 55 euro, and it tasted lovely. Perfect service and good winelist with a lot of wines from the area. We had a Ch. Giscours 2006, 95 euro, and it was perfect and well-balanced. Les Fresques is highly recommended for food - and wine-lovers.
