Authentic place with lot of tastes... Look very small but charming in the begining of the fishermen village. I recommend

We discovered The Hut on our last night on Samui in 2014. We returned to the island two weeks ago and stayed in Fisherman Village. We had no hesitation in returning to The Hut for our first Thai meal of the holiday. Great Thai cooking in a basic restaurant run by friendly Thai owners; fresh fish and squid, spicy sauces... More

We want with friends from Wales and we were not disappointed, the choice on the menu consisting of Thai & Western food was of a excellent selection & the food as well , the servings more than enough. Will be going back again & highly recommend & it is advisable to book as tables are limited

Great food in Fishermans Village. We were lucky enough to get a walk in table, but it seems to be the norm to call and make a reservation. We saw several couples/families get turned away because they were sold out. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the place doesn't look like much but the food is great... More

We came by this place and 3/5 of the place was occupied and the rest was booked for later that evening. They made room for us at we had the best local dinner and it was cheap! 280B for 2 course, rice and water. And the taste was amazing! I'll go back every time I'm near by!!! Our best travel... More

We've ate here a few times and the food has always been excellent. You may want to ask to reduce the spice level unless you can take the heat. Their "booking" policy is well documented in other posts so I won't add anything further. The restaurant setting is rustic to say the least so don't expect anything fancy and it... More

a restaurant with integrity, though it is kind of dirty, not delicate. It recalls my memory in Sichuan Province of China, the kingdom of family restaurants. Grill Squid is fresh, with great resultant and original mouth feel. Fried shrimp is crispy, the inside is juicy, and the dip is inspiring. All the food is humble, deserves a try.

What can I say about this great little restaurant firstly it's not much to look at and a very short walk from the busy area of fishermens village. but having said that the food is the best authentic Thai food I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend you book not to be disappointed, we ate their three times and... More

We arrived and the place was full, within a few minutes they had found us a seat and we were sat down with drinks. There was no rush to get us in and out we had time to relax and browse the traditional menu. The food came and it was absolutely outstanding. From outside you probably wouldn't pick it as... More
