After reafing several outstanding reviews, I wanted to try out this place, at the north end of the Fishermen's village (mind indications if you google it. They are not correct). The Hut is a cosy, small place by a small street. Not by the sea, but not much traffic passing by neither, which makes it pleasant. First evening I tried... More

Went here based on tripadvisor reviews: easy to find. Had a good meal, it was very busy and a constant stream of people turning up and being turned away. We had wantons and chicken satay, then whole fried white snapper with penang curry sauce, seafood pad thai and 5 huge tiger prawns, a cocktail and a large beer for 1100... More

Been there for lunch a couple of times because it's reasonable cheap, the food is ok but nothing exceptional but then you get what you pay for. The service is lackluster and not very friendly, makes you feel like you should order, eat and get out. Not what you would expect from a Thai run restaurant in Thailand.

Back here again in 2017 - just as well priced, same unpretentious, tasty and genuine food. We have used this restaurant for several years - but it is now so popular you sometimes can't get a table!

We enjoyed the food here (3.5 rating really), but we have eaten better in Thailand. The service was ok and it was very reasonably priced. Apparently you have to book way in advance (at least a week) if you want to eat here after 6pm.

We loved our dinner at The Hut last night! We were walking around Fishermans Village and around 10pm realized how hungry we were. We walked into The Hut and could tell they were close to closing, but they seated us and were so polite despite the fact that we were arriving so late. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls to... Best place to find good local Thai food in Fisho's Village (almost the only place!). Best to make reservation at busy times, very small restaurant

Had two soups, papaya salad and grilled seadfood. Enjoyed every bit of it. Specially the grilled seadfood. It's was so simple and fresh it was hard not to order another dish. The portions were rather generous too. Yes, the place doesn't look like the more upscale tourist oriented place towards the center of the fisherman villege, but definitely worth it.... More
