Though we chose Cafe 69 as it was ranked 4th among all the Bophut restaurants, we were still seriously surprised by just how good the food was. Sorry, not good. Brilliant!!! The Duck Red Curry Dumplings were superb; it consisted of five large moist parcels of tasty duck wrapped in large wonton-like parcels, a hybrid Thai-Chinese dish. I've never seen... More

I can't speak highly enough of Cafe 69. Great, friendly staff, cool ambience and the food- well simply brilliant! The moneybags are some of the best I have ever had, the chicken pie with mango is sublime and the masaman duck with sweet potato mash; well words will not do it justice. You need to book so get in early... More

A must try restaurant in Bophut. Very quirky interior but the food was the star. We LOVED the tempura prawns, the deep fried snapper in green curry, the soft shell crab, the duck dumplings, the green chicken curry pie, the duck breast, the duck leg... you get it! Plus we loved the Angry Monkey drinks - blended mango & strawberry... More

We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation on a Saturday by going at 6pm. The food selection is very good with a relatively short menu with slight twists on Thai food. The green curry chicken pie (wrapped in a roti) comes with mango slices on it and a jug of green curry sauce. This was my top... More

An amazing combination of Thai ingredients resulting in surprising flavours. Not the traditional Thai dishes, but absolutely a must to visit if you like a twist.

If there is one thing you do whilst staying in Ko Samui that is enjoy a meal at Cafe 69. The food is stunning example of Thai fusion cuisine. Be warned the restaurant is small, you must book and may be difficult to find, (use the GPS on your phone). But well worth the effort.

Imaginative menu that takes staple Thai favourites and deconstructs them eg green chicken pie (actually more like a wrap). Can be a bit hit and miss but if you're tired of usual Thai and the bustle of Fisherman's Village, definitely worth a visit. Need to book, especially if you want to sit inside (although you'll be given a bottle of... More

Cafe 69 offers amazing dishes that were honestly part of the best culinary experience I've had in Thailand. The dishes are creative but taste amazing, and the service is decent. It's a bit pricier than most restaurants but definitely affordable, and the experience is 100% worth it. If I'd ever be in MaeNam again, I'd definitely go here!
