Went to Cafe 69 for the first time recently. The food is just as innovative as previous reviewers have stated. The cafe is small and it is essential to book. We saw many people being turned away. I was surprised at how early many people were there (6pm), so if you are prepared to come back at around 8.30pm, you... More

There are many restaurants in Samui. This one is unique! I loved it! Defiantly get the Green Chicken Pie and the Duck Dumplings. For mains, my favorite was the Soft Shell Crabs. Delish

I can think of no reason anyone could deduct any *s from this place except maybe to make booking more easy. Every time we dined we saw people being turned down because the place is booked solidly. Imaginative food with excellent flavours based on Thai cuisine, and a caring host to match. After our first dinner there we just booked... More

We ate at this restaurant on 3 occasions whilst in Koh Samui. The food is fantastic, the restaurant itself is really quirky and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The owner/chef Vivian is amazing, he's always there to welcome you to his restaurant, he offers advice on the food and he suggests that you share a main meal or a... More

After visit Samui for the last ten years we had the luck to find this marvelous place. We are some scary with the Thai Restaurants for the spicy and the “rare” thing than you can eat there, but in this case this restaurant has a lot of different dishes with different “levels” of spicy. And one of the more important... More

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews it had on TripAdvisor and it definitely did not disappoint. We made a booking by emailing the restaurant, which is a must. If you don't book you might not get a table as it is very small and always full. The decor is fun and kitch. They have outside and... More

We visited this restaurant in our second week in Bo Phut. It is a small but very friendly. The manager helped us with gluten free requirement and we all enjoyed our food. Portions were large and very tasty. Thai but different to the other restaurants. We would highly recommend but you are likely to need to book in advance.

We absolutely love this place! Vivian is an amazing host and so humble. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he takes great pride in keeping his customers happy. We had the Duck Red Curry dumplings which were delicious and so creative, Thai salad and soft shell crab bites, Green Curry Pie - again amazing, my son wanted to... More
