The signature dishes are their meats cooked on hot lava stone, sounds interesting, however, It is difficult to get the term, started eating medium and finished eating well done one. The ice cream (3 leches with arequipe sauce) sounded fantastic, but the presentation and taste...were bland. The location is phenomenal, in a forest reserve, and the decorations and set up should take advantage of that, in line with the environmental vibe of the town.More

Very bad service and not good food. The person running this restaurant is a grump. She fought with my wife on bringing a bottle of wine. My wife offered 20,000 pesos for a cork charge. That’s a fair price in Colombia. She forgot my French...fries and my steak was awful. The steak had way too much spice. For the price there are better options in Barichara.More

We arrived and were "greeted" by the host who seems to be determined to drive customers away. She told us the pond was closed (apparently she has decided that this place, which is a public park, is her private property) and then communicated that they..."didn't have picnic service", when we asked to have a snack. There are a lot of good places in Barichara so it is definitely not worth it to waste your time with this one. If you still want the picture, there's a cute bridge from which you can see the pond and you don't have to stand the rudeness.More

After a long day of walking through the beautiful streets of Barichara, just outside the town, we found by chance this beautiful site to enjoy a great lunch. This unique experience made a magnificent closure of what it was a great visit to the most...beautiful town in Colombia. With tasteful food, great service and nature environment, it is a must in my next trip to Barichara.More

See our review of the hotel. The food was excellent and made from scratch. Be prepared to wait for your food to be prepared. Our family had traditional Colombian dishes, hamburgers and pasta for dinner. We had eggs, pancakes, waffles, arepas, hot chocolate and coffee...for breakfast. Natural juices were served with breakfast.More

Went there for a late lunch on our first visit to Barichara and were very happy with the food, service, restaurant and the staff. The steaks were delicious, tender, and served on top of a Lava Stone where you will finish to cook it according...to your taste. We ordered the lomito or tender loin, because we loved tender beef and was delicioso :-) The side dishes were also good and very unique. We took a tuk-tuk from the center of town and the Restaurant is located just a few meters outside the main entrance of town. The restaurant is on a very pretty area surrounded by trees, flowers and birds. The owner had impeccable taste for the China, glasses, tables, lamps and for the setting of the restaurant all designed by her! She was very proud of her restaurant and was very friendly too :-) We ended up staying longer sipping Coffee, that she gets from her favorite Coffee Plantation, and talking about the area. We will go back on our next visit to Barichara. Definitively is a Must!!More
