This restaurant on Highway 3 is on top of a mountain. The views are spectacular if there is no fog or rain. Food is typical Tico.

Pinto was lousy, eggs were lousy. Overall it was a wasted drive. Never to be repeated. Overall the food was very disappointing

Definitely worth a stop for a coffee or drink. Above the clouds, looking out over a lovely valley. Nachos with thousand island dressing are odd. Sandwiches are fine. It's quite cheap.

We stayed in Atenas over the Christmas break and this cafe came highly recommended by a local. We stopped in for some Horchata and Cafe Lattes to fuel up for our day at the waterfalls. Did not expect such a breathtaking view!!!! Honestly, almost everywhere...we went in Atenas had such drop dead views! If you're in the area, make sure you stop in here!!More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The view is amazing. The menu has many choices and staff were very friendly. We both opted for the fish plate that included rice, beans and plantain. The fish was beautifully prepared. The juice drinks were light and refreshing....I’d definitely returnMore

The views are spectacular on a clear day, but the food, nothing special. Great place to stop for coffee or a beer. The staff is very nice.

Coffee break! And the breathtaking view prolonged our break. We went to see the sunset but it was cloudy :(

This restaurant is over a cliff and with a bird nest view. The food is costarican type, The food is better than their coffee. We tried the quesadillas which were very good. My friends had some fajitas that were good too.

On our way from San Jose to Arenal and my hubby was needing some coffee and found this gem. Coffee is great too- made fresh, every cup, from locally sourced coffee beans
