It is in a converted house near the town square. Parking is on the street. Very good coffee and the service was good. We had dinner there and the food was good.

Keep returning for good meals and varied menu. Tonight had chicken which came with salad, yukka, vegetables and two chicken fillets. Friend had pasta which she said was very good

I ate a honey mustard chicken salad at Antaño and it was full of nuts (yum), fresh and delicious. I also had a guanabana juice and it was delicious too.The service was excellent and the price was reasonable, especially for expensive Costa Rica. It doesn't have much of a decor so if you want a special occasion meal maybe this... More

The service was great, the food was even better! I had a fruit parfait one morning for breakfast and it was muy delicioso! My friends had coffee, orange juice, and a few other delectable items from the menu and we loved it all. Highly recommend to anyone in town.

Our hotel owner suggested this restaurant because it is good and consistent. Or waiter was bilingual. I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and my husband had the typical Costa Rican meal. Service was quick. The food was hot and fresh. The Hotchata is amazing! They must have shaved fresh cinnamon for it. Don't skip that drink! Open until... More

There is not much left of Old Costa Rica in Atenas but Antano is one of them. A quaint old colonial building in a quiet setting. I have to admit I have never had a meal here but have on many occasions stopped in for a big iced tea or cold coffee drink. Super nice people too!

It is in a beautiful, old building just across from Atenas's park. The service was great, and it offers a wide variety of food.

Loved the setting -- I think it is a converted house about 2 blocks off the main square. Food was very good, a little pricey like everything in CR. Our waitress didn't speak English but she was very sweet and tried very hard to communicate. Looked to be lots of locals there for lunch after church on Sunday.
