As I found ou after, he restaurant is considered top of its kind, and for a good reason, we had lunch there with more than 10 people and i could tell that everyone was satisfied, me included, The menu does not have many different choices, but the ones that it has are more than enough to keep you satisfied. The... More

I felt very much in the way of the servers, quality of food, ok, although flammenkuchen burnt at edges a little too much. Typical French service for Paris .... But to be fair it was serving at 14:30.

Not busy. No idea why. As everywhere else was closed. A great find for traditional Flammekueche cooked in a traditional stone oven. We were in the area for a week and this was definitely the best food we had. Four of us ate main course and desert and drinks for 80 euros. And what a meal!! Just too much for... More

Be prepared: the meals size is big! I ordered a salad with hot goat cheese (which was very good) and my husband a filet with mushrooms. Service is friendly. You need to be objective when ordering the cooking of your filet: my husband asked for a "more well done rather than medium well" and one of the waitress said it... More

This is a wonderful restaurant - well known to locals, but not obvious to tourists. I took a group here for an evening meal and it was quite outstanding. It was my fourth visit and I( look forward to going again! It's a noisy restaurant- full of life and bustle, and the sound of people enjoying themselves. But, the food... More

Place was absolutely full on a Saturday afternoon, my partner ordered the flammkuechen, I went with one of the restaurant specials of quinnelles of beef in a wonderfully rich sauce with the best fries I've had in a while. Very attentive and friendly service, also very young family friendly

It's the second time we were here on our way to Strasbourg. The tartes flambées are the reason to come over! The rest of the food is good. Nothing fantastic but again... The tartes flambées!!! A HUGE difference with the rest!

We were here for a group meal on Friday12th September - terrific atmosphere- about 100 people dining so busy and and noisy (in a nice way!) The food was just brilliant. I had a most delightful soufflé St Jaques, beef en croute, superb cheeses Munster with caraway seed, Tome and Roquefort, then an apple and Calvados tarte flambee.. Good service... More

Dinner here with friends to introduce them to Tarte Flambee, the Alsatian specialty, thin crust painted with farmers cheese & creme fraiche , topped with onion slivers & small lardons, baked in v. Hot oven-heaven! My husband & I eat here once or twice every trip to Alsace. We stayed with the Tartes, eating 3 with the local Riesling by... More

I was tipped off about this restaurant by a winemaker from Riquewihr (Daniel Weiderhirn) in 1995 and I've been several times - the last time being 2008. But, I'm taking a group here in September 2014 and so looking forward to it. The food, the wines, the atmosphere, and everything is just perfect if you want to sample the culture... More
