We visited here whilst camping local. We started with a few local ciders in the beer garden which is great. Then we moved inside to eat our meal , I started with a home made bean and bacon soup fresh and very tasty. For mains we had a steak cobbler again fresh pipping hot and tasty, also a steak cooked... My family and I have been going to the Falcon Inn for a number of years now and we love it. There are one or two flaws but on the whole the pro's outweigh the cons, one con being that they don't take bookings in the busy months but they clearly do for people they know as I and other... More

We visited this restaurant several times during a recent stay in St Mawgan. The pub is set in a nice rural location, with a lovely beer garden and space for the kids to have a run about. There's no play area, however there's a lovely park just over the way which came in handy when the kids got bored between... More

Five adults and three children just enjoyed some real pub grub in the beautiful grades of this Inn. Children played safely and happily, running around and kicking a ball, and adults enjoyed good food and beer. Lively friendly staff. Highly Recommended

We turned up with out a reservation on a busy evening, there was a running race through the village that evening. We found a table outside which was very pleasant on a warm evening. The menu was interesting and varied and included gluten free items suitable for my daughter. We all enjoyed our meals and particularly the squid starter and... More

After going to Mawgan Porth for the last 12 years we have always wanted to walk to the Falcon Inn, however we have always been doing other stuff, surfing sunbathing and entertaining our kids. This year though we were determined to get there because it was highly recommended by a couple of friends we always see on our holidays. We... More

We were looking for A Dog friendly pub where we could eat & sample local ales, whilst we were holidaying in Cornwall. One of the proviso's being it wasn't to be overcrowded & should be off the main tourist trail. This Inn hit the nail squarely on the head, the staff were friendly & chatty & even welcomed our male... We were met by a far from welcoming bar maid who was just downright rude, we promptly did a U turn and went somewhere far more deserving.

We had desert here on a Sunday night which was very average. I can't remember not finishing a desert before and this was one shared with my boyfriend (it was huge) On the Monday 9 of us ate in the beautiful gardens. We had a great evening and the gardens are gorgeous complete with wishing well. The food on the... More

This is a lovely pub but their menu is slightly limited if you are a vegetarian, luckily we do eat fish and their fish and chips is soooooo tasty...be aware that the portions are HUGE!!!!!! so if you have a child I would strongly advise you chose from the kids menu even if they normally eat adult portions everywhere else!
