Had breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised. Great home cooking and the best cinnamon buns ever. It is a nice little cafe.....kind of takes you back in time. Staff were very friendly. Will come back again for sure.
Don’t misread the title, the place is small and simple, but it’s home cooked meals and real coffee
They close at 2 pm, but it’s a great little restaurant. I go there when I am in the area and wanting a good breakfast.

With 35 years in the same location this local dive is worth the stop! The atmosphere may not be up to par with classier places but this breakfast/lunch diner is filled with homemade comfort. In-house baked sourdough bread made our sandwiches scrumptious. The fries and...More
had the soup and sandwich for lunch and was pleasantly surprised, the soup was hardy and tasty and the sandwich was nice and thick with plenty of roast beef, by the looks of the crud it would appear to be a local favourite

I do apologize for your disappointing experience. I know it is not and excuse but my other half who bakes all our bread has suffered a severe heart attack a short time ago and we have been struggling to do his work as well as...More
The Jammery is apparently the touristy place to go, but when it's closed due to a water supply issue, it allowed us to find this local gem as an alternative breakfast location.
Pricing is reasonable and serving size is good, especially if you're ordering the...More
Wasn’t sure what this cafe would be like as we had 2 unsuccessful attempts at finding a local bar/grill (and we saw this was open from across the road). However I was pleasantly surprised as the cafe had good service, daily specials were offered, the...More
