If you don't know this place you probably wouldn't go there. The building itself is really old and it looks almost a bit run-down and scruffy. Once you enter the garden you'll be positively surprised by the nice location and great food!

the food is simply amazing. not only for dinner, but also for lunch. don't order off the à la carte menu at lunch time though, otherwise you will wait a long time for your food. just get the daily special it comes with a soup and salad and a generous main dish. must like traditional fare at a high level.... They act in the Restaurant like in a good 3-star one but in fact they're not! They don't even have a single vegetarian, I don't even talk about vegan, dish in the menu! HEY GUY IT'S 2015!!!!!! But what they serve fit's to the outside of the Restaurant, it looks like hell!!! Come on guys!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!

I went here for dinner. We sat out side and enjoyed the setting. The food was nice (however my soup a bit salty). Big issue is the service - the waitress was not just not friendly,... But almost rude. It also took hours till we finally got our two course meal. Asham, as the place has stuff to offer.

I’ve been in this restaurant with my family (adult children). Food is simply delicious. Austrian specialties. Be aware, my daughter speaks German. So, we could cope. They hardly can speak any word of any other language. But the waitress was extremely patient and kind. Relaxed atmosphere, not for a romantic dinner (noisy). We’ve visited a number of restaurants in the... More

Dinner for 5 last night was yet again a pleasure ,locally sourced fresh ingredients , fresh assortment of meats, game , poultry and traditional ,accompaniments to compliment your dishes , a new local beer on offer rounded off the meal . Atmosphere typical of a guest house in rural Austria frequented by locals and foreigners alike . Yet another superb... More

This restaurant was recommended by a staff member of the Jewish Museum Hohenems. He warned us not to be turned off by the almost decrepit looking exterior (we can't judge the exterior, since we ate in the wonderful garden under the chestnut trees). The chef was apparently highly praised by Gault-Millau, but wasn't interested anymore in that kind of circus.... More

Service made by cheap incompetent students. Need 3 hours for a normal dinner, only a starter and a main course. Food quality went down to almost zero. Since years, the menu did no change except price increase! Never Again BEARK!!!!!!
