Stopped here for lunch whilst skiing in St Anton. It has a lovely little sun terrace that is great for a nice day. Food was absolutely excellent so we decided to make our way back the hotel for our last evening meal. The restaurant is transformed in the evening and is very cosy and traditional. A lovely place to eat.... More

A lovely place for lunch on a snowy day or sunny day on the small terrace. We have tried a great variety of dishes here and we are never disappointed - particularly good goulash soup as well as cold meats with hot grated horseradish. Go with a good appetite - portions are generous. Leave space for the Kaiserschmarrn pudding !

Went there for lunch between skiing with some friends. It is not that easy to find, and most skiers end up at restaurants much closer to the lifts. But if you walk 2-3 minutes between the the beautiful houses of Stuben, you will find Mondschein. In the sun, they have a nice terrasse, with no wind. Food is excellent, and... More

I have stayed at the hotel Mondschein with my girlfriend, but we also wanted to try the a-la-carte in the restaurant. We enjoyed every bite of it. We had a very good lunch after skiing with typical Austrian dishes like Kasespatzle and Blutwurst. The dinner was excellent, we wanted a quiet corner for a romantic dining and the owner made... Had a lunch, which is served from 11:30 to 14:00 with a special lunch menu. It included some traditional dishes like Tyrolean Gröstl, Spätzle, etc., but I went for Kalbsbäckle (veal's cheek) with mashed potatoes. It was above average (based on local standard), but nothing impressive. The meat was not as tender as I was expecting cheek's meat to be,... More

I visit this hotel every time i can because the waiters are very polite and the food is delicious. The ambient is cozy and protect us from the cold weather outside.

Mondschein has exceptional local specialties in the cosiest dining room you'll see in the region. This is the insider's tip and well worth the trip. In fact, skiing to the restaurant is half the fun! Don't miss the Kaiserschmarrn - torn pancakes, which come with plum preserves and is caramelised. It's the best I've ever had!
