As snowbirds, we always try to eat at Leverocks. With the Corona-virus closure of many restaurants, we were happy to learn Leverocks was open for carryout. We received emails of a Special price for the Onion Crusted Salmon with Shrimp, so we phoned in a carryout order of 3 of these. As senior people, we were late phoning in and had just pulled into the parking lot as we finished our order, about 6:30 on Sunday evening. My husband and his sister went in to get the order, wearing their masks. There was no line of customers. They were directed to the bar for pickup, and after only a few minutes they had the order. We checked for accuracy since we had had problems with other restaurants and found everything all right. We had originally had to eliminate the baked potatoes we wanted (not available) with other sides, but that was okay. We drove almost 30 minutes back home and ate our delicious dinners without even using the microwave to reheat them. I was glad I had to get a different side, because the mixed vegetables were delicious. The dinners were even well packaged and marked with the content and a smiley face! We realized that carryout did not include the usual warm bread with oil, but our meals were so delicious that we were glad to fill up on the regular meal!Thank you for a great experience!! My husband was impressed with the friendliness of the greeting lady and the bartender who took the money and told the cook staff to get the food ready.

Outstanding menu with many selections available. Went on a Friday evening when it was quite busy but the wait was reasonable. The salad was excllent and could have sufficed as a meal on its own. I ordered the Leverock's seafood platter - blackened, which was overly seasoned with what appeared to be coal dust, and even after trying to scrape it off found the shrimp, scallops and fish overcooked and inedible. But my wife had fried shrimp that were large, perfectly cooked and excellent. The sweet potato fries were also a treat. I complained about the blackened dish and the manager graciously offered to replace it and ultimately deducted it from the bill, and I left that amount in addition to my usual generous tip. I think an offer of a complimentary dessert would have been more effective, but overall we left satisfied.

Let me just say, the clam chowder, crab cakes and most of all the mahi mahi were outstanding! The mahi mahi could not have been any fresher or prepared any better - and the piece was extremely generous. Our server, Howard, was one of the best we have experienced; very knowledgeable about fish and personable. Despite being very busy, we never felt rushed and we felt very well cared for! He is an exemplary representative for Leverock's and we will definitely request to be in his area next time.

We have gone there at least once a week every time we are in Florida and it never disappoints us. The food is always cooked just right and is great tasting. We have never had to wait over 10 minutes for a table. The staff are always courteous and friendly. I get the shrimp, my husband gets the salmon; always cooked just right. Our friends have gotten the lobster and chicken dishes. We have always been pleased with how they turn out.

Was last at a Leverock's 25 years ago. I say "a" Leverock's because there used to be as many as 17 locations. Now just one. As great as I remembered. Afternoon (early menu) seating in a clean, socially distanced not too bright, not too dark roomy booth. Comfortable . Tables available too. Immediately greeted by our masked waitress Lisa. She explained the early menu choices and the features of each of the specials. Her recommendations were spot on! Brought mini-loaf with whipped butter and seasoned olive oil while we waited for our meals to arrive. Our choices arrived in short-order hot and plated very pleasingly to the eye. Scrod Jason and Stuffed tilapia along with sides of mashed potatoes (homemade) and an ice-cold lettuce wedge with Bleu cheese bacon and tomatoes. Wonderfull! Rice pilaf was special too. Our attentive Lisa was maybe the BEST SERVER EVER encountered anywhere. Topped off with a slice of peanut butter pie made this visit even more memorable. I guarantee it won't be 25 years until a return to Leverock's for us.

I cannot believe I forgot to write this review last year when I visited Treasure Island, Florida I ate at Leverocks and the food and service was excellent. Restaurant is actually in South Pasadena, Fl which is just a couple miles from Treasure Island. I was a snowbird in 2019 and in the 3 months I was there I ate there 3 times. Everytime I had a visitor from my home town I took them to Laverocks and everyone of them loved the food and the service.

We ordered two dinners and soup and pie for curbside pickup. Were told 20 min. When we got there we could not get through to the desk by phone, so we told the desk I’m person that we were there for pick up. After three times someone came out to ask the name before finally the food was brought out. The bread was stale, the steak was cold and the baked potato was undercooked and cold. We only live 5 min away so the travel time did not figure in to this. Also we were not given a receipt, we had prepaid when ordering incl a nice tip Maybe the problem Was that it was a Friday but from the looks of the parking lot it was not that busy. Maybe no repeat ordering from Leverock’s as there are many other restaurants to order from

Our server Howard was great! Warm bread to begin with & a yummy dipping oil. I had one of the early bird specials, a blue cheese lettuce wedge with coconut shrimp. Delicious! My husband had fried shrimp & crab cake & loved it. Busy place!

Went for lunch. Large menu with a variation of choices, many specials listed. Place was clean with a beach atmosphere. Food was good, The problem was the server seemed disinterested, like she wish she was somewhere else. Never came back to check on us. This took the edge off a good meal.

Bottom line: There are better seafood restaurants with quality food for takeout. We rarely eat in, even before COVID. Second takeout attempt here in the last 2 months. We don’t like it the first time but didn’t want to make the drive to the beach, 4th Street or downtown so gave it another shot. I’m sorry for that. Pros: Bartender and manager are pleasant and professional. Service was quick. Consumed less calories than I normally would. Cons: small portion, not yummy, Low quality seafood, low quality preparation. Meal ordered: shrimp and crab cake - Four slim, soggy, bready fried shrimp that taste EXACTLY like the kind you get in a Chinese restaurant for $1 a shrimp. One gummy, overwhelmingly pimento flavored crab cake. I’m guessing it was a frozen, factory make crab cake. Limp fries and limp coleslaw. $14.99.

We ordered takeout due to social distancing restrictions. Ordered around 5:20pm. The woman on the phone was nice enough and said it would take 45 minutes and to go to the bar for pickup. My husband arrived after about 40 minutes and the line was 10 people deep and no social distancing. He waited for approximately 20 minutes before the employee took payment and then they had just completed our order. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and not organized. There were no utensils in the bag or napkins and we were missing two sides for one entree when we got home. We ordered a fried seafood platter, mixed grill and dynamite shrimp. The Star of our meal was the dynamite shrimp, the crouton on the salads, and the honey mustard dressing. The scallops and fried shrimp were okay, but the grilled fish and garlic mashed potatoes were inedible. Very disappointed in our experience.

We ordered carry-out from here for my family of five as we were vacationing in Sunset Beach. My two boys had the snow crab legs. They were OK, nothing special. My daughter had wanted the Jamaican Chicken but they were out and said they would do a BBQ chicken. It actually came as a BBQ chicken sandwich. She said it was fine as she just took it off the bun. Wife had the Baltimore Platter. She said it was OK, but portions were pretty small. We also shared the fried crab wontons. They were average, but the dipping sauce was good. Now on to the good...I had the San Francisco platter and can say that the grilled grouper with mushrooms was the best thing I have had in a long time. Very good. Also everyone agreed that the Caesar salads were the best they have had. Would come again and try some different things.

I took my parents there for Mother's Day. They love their salmon, and I ordered lobster tail and shrimp. The lobster had absolutely no taste and was rubbery, and the shrimp was overcooked and nasty--I didn't even finish it. The last time I ordered food from them (lobster and shrimp), I felt the same way so never went back, but because my parents wanted to go there, I gave it another shot. There's much better places to get your lobster and shrimp in my opinion. I would have given one star; however, the waitress was VERY good and attentive, so that's a plus.

Our motel recommended this place, and I am glad that we went there last night. The seafood was fresh and the opposite of bland. My grilled Salmon was spicy, but not hot & spicy. This fish dish tasted almost like a steak! While not cheap, we felt that the prices were at or below Red Lobster's. But the food is WAY better than Red Lobster.

We heard about this place from a local and have it a try. It was just as good as advertisef!. My wife had the mixed grill of shrimp, scallops, and mahimahi. I offered the "San Francisco" consisting of shrimp, scallops, and grouper. Both were excellent. We also offered the smoked fish speed with crackers and capers for the appetizer. Absolutely delish! We will be back
