My favorite mountain rifugio since many years. Conveniently located on slope 8, here’s a panoramic place in the sun, fantastic homemade food. The Speck and cheese they have is probably some of the best you find around here. Very friendly and fast service.

Capanna Nera has good food and great drinks. Service is great, too. Location is fabulous and one of the last stops after a day of skiing.

Haven’t eaten here (tho the food looks good) but this is my favourite spot to sit at the end of a day. The teracce is usually packed with a jolly bunch of skiers catching the afternoon sun in a lively, but not raucous atmosphere. A...days skiing is beautifully finished in this great mountain hut, with just a smort ski down to Corvara afterwards. Perfect.More

This is the favorite mountain hut to gaze at the scenery, enjoy the sun and have a drink or meal. Super scenic location, perfect for catching the sun nearly all day until late. Nice homemade food and very friendly service. Try their specialty, the Negermilch,...hot milk with a kick!More

Capanna nera is in between the skilifts Pralongia 2 and Pralongia 1. if you bypass the Pralongia 2 chairlift on the right side, you are on your way tot the Pralongia 1 chairlift, but halfways down (after the steep bit) you will see Capanna nera...on your right. yo ucan ski right into it and out again. Capanna nera is a black building ant it's outdoor seating area is perfectly positioned for a drink in the afternoon. Of course they serve lunch too, but I've never tried the food here. Great stop for a drink!More

The ski run to get there is beautiful and family friendly... We went there 6 years ago in 2012 and it was just as good as we remembered! On a sunny day, sitting outside is pleasant or inside/upstairs is also beautiful. I honestly recommend any...pasta dish as they are all delicious!!More

Capanna Nera is on the slope down from the Pralongia 2 skilift to the Pralongia 1 skilift. In the morning, it is a good spot for coffee, and in the afternoon for a drink before you take on your last slope home. Capanna Nera has...afternoon sun, so it is a nice spot for an afternoon drink. They play mostly German music outdoors. No wonder it's popular with German people. Service is good, location is good, and prices are reasonable I will try the food next time around..More

Great views from the deck. The food is definitely a cut above typical refugio fare. Very good selections of meat and cheese. Try the barley (orzo) soup.
