The family decided to have a guilty Sunday, so we went for lunch to Kemenes Pastry Shop & Bistro in Biatorbágy. My daughter heard about this place, the rumor said, that 2 kg plus is guaranteed, after every visit. We weren’t as bad as it sounds, the lunch wasn’t only cakes and cookies since this shop sells a few dishes as well, not only sweets. They have a daily menu, this is what one of us ordered. It was Chicken soup and Honey-beer roasted pork knuckle and french fries with onion. Two of us were hesitating in between Grilled sheep cheese with mixed salad and a tuna steak, but to keep some empty place for the sweets, we chose the salad. We also had a Caesar salad order, and French fries. When I was investigating the sweets, I found Beetroot with apple juice. It was irresistible and I found it excellent. We had generous servings and very tasty food. If I looking for some fault all that I can mention, that my salad was a bit too sweet or my taste, but that I call a fault, maybe for other customers is delightful. After the main meal, we got the main reason of our coming. They have such an abundance of cakes, cookies, desserts, that it is hard to choose, because looking at them, we wanted to have everything, but since none of us would be able to have 25-30 different sweets, we had to pick only one or two, and something for taking away. My daughter had a Caramel waterfall that looked fantastic and as I heard it tasted luscious. My fig poppy seed cake was something that I never tasted before, but will again for sure. I don’t remember everyone's order, but there was a Chocolate brownie, and some creamy cheesy slices. All of us found our orders delicious. Even if I don't care about such freaks at all, I have to pay tribute to Kemenes for having a couple of paleo cakes as well. We didn't taste them, but I assume that they were probably very palatable. It was a memorable lunch in a very nicely decorated restaurant with good ambiance, fast and friendly service and last but not least an immaculately clean, tastefully arranged toilette. We'll go again.

Called in on our last day in Budapest and the service was excellent and the gentleman that served was most helpful, Club sandwich and the great selection of cakes were delicious we really wanted to try them all, lovely cosy atmosphere and fantastic decor would most definitely recommend- Thankyou

Kemenes is known for their delicious cakes and pastries. This sunday we went for lunch and ice cream. The food was great, the lunch menu is a steal. Nice place, great staff.

This cake shop/restaurant is located on the main street of Biatorbágy, next to the bus stop.It has its own parking lots.
The interior is nice, cakes and pastires are delicious but quite small and expensive.
I popped in to try the lunch-menu 3 times, but every time I was disappointed. The portion is small, the quality was below average, the food was coldl even though the last time we had to wait over 20 minutes for the lunch of the day. :-o
Staff is kind.

Came across this place as we were walking between St Matthias’ church and Gellért Hill... it’s really lovely food and baked goods.
Not expensive at all - amazing selection of drinks and pastries.

Beautiful interior, lunch-menu is over-average, serving is nice. Cookies and cakes are fine, but somewhat pricy.
Has it's own parking place.

A big cake-shop in the center of Biatorbagy. The waitresses are polite, and the cakes are good, delicious, but small and very expensive in this town. Biatorbagy has some cake-shop (Nikoletta, Házi sütibolt, Andrész, Kemenes, Cafe Frizzo, Csakafagyi), but Kemenes is the most expensive without any extras.

Kemenes is located in Biatorbágy near the main road. They sell superb cakes, pastries and also food. They offer daily lunch menu, as well as weekend offers. (also salads, pasta etc.) The cakes are very good, the staff is very friendly and the place looks very inviting and cozy. Bright, modern decor. Recommended !
