We've been to Rarotonga a few times and can recommend the Island Fries at Sails to be the best we've eaten around the island. Worth a visit if only for this. Oh, and the view is pretty spectacular too - Muri beach.

Lovely food here, great outlook over the beach, easy to pop up from your sunbathing and have a bite to eat.

They have a waterfront balcony with a great view of the lagoon, which is awesome. But the food we got for lunch was uninspiring.

We went several times to Sails, for coffee in the mornings, once for dinner and once for dessert, on our recent trip to Rarotonga. I found that the staff who served us in the mornings seemed to be disinterested and not very friendly. The coffee was good, but not outstanding. When we went for dinner the place was very busy,... Nice place, friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price but very slow service; one of the longest waits I've had in a restaurant.

Have been here before and decided to stop for a late lunch/early dinner. The meals were good and it was enjoyable watching the yachts racing on the lagoon. The only downside was the outside barman refused to do certain cocktails because his blender was broken. He couldn't be bothered to get one from the inside bar. And our teenage waitress... More

If you're looking for a great meal with a view of the water, this is the place for you. Thoughtful menu with something for everyone. It can get crowded and if there isn't a table, just go to the bar for a drink until a table opens up.

Great location and a really cool restaurant with lots of sailing memorabilia. The staff were friendly and the food was good but we waited for over an hour and a half for our mains with no apology. There was no clear explanation why the food would have taken so long as the restaurant was not very busy.

we were walking along the beach early evening and liked the look of this place. We were lucky that we got the last table on the outdoor deck. .. Best to think ahead and book. The service was good, the menu varied and the meal beautiful. The trio of seafood was 2x fish and prawns. Would I eat there again...... More

I decided to go here as others had told me it was a great place to eat. I was dining alone and didn't feel that welcome and then got put at a table in the middle of groups which was not ideal. The meal was average at best - not what I had been expecting that's for sure. By the... More
