We booked the meal based on good reviews, but we were a little concerned as to whether they could cater for 8 with hot food altogether. We needn't have worried, the food arrived piping hot for everyone and evryone agreed the quality was excellent. All the staff were very friendly which always helps, so we will certainly be going back... More

The mains just didn't come up to scratch for us I'm afraid and it feels sad to have to say this because it's a lovely little place with great staff.

Just took Aylesham office out for a quick lunch and it was delicious. Loads of choice, we all had trouble deciding. If you are vegetarian this is a great place to eat - loads of choices. The food was delicious and the landlord and landlady were lovely. The home made burger and chicken goujons come highly recommended. If we had... More

This is a good, well-run pub. You receive a friendly welcome and good service. There is an interesting menu with a number of vegetarian options - most unusual and very welcome. The pub itself is well kept with a lovely outside space offering various seating areas. There is a good sized car park which is not too obvious. If you... More

Last night we went to this lovely pub/restaurant. A delightful place with hops hanging around the room. We ordered 3 different meals, steaks, pork & chicken all of which were delicious. The creme brûlée for dessert was exceptional and the staff were very welcoming. We will definitely return again. Excellent service too!

We are infrequent regulars at the Haywain - we call in for lunch whenever we're in the area which isn't as often as we would like. Delicious (and very well priced) Sunday lunch with roast beef and pork between the two of us plus some first rate cauliflower cheese in addition to a futher selection of vegetables. All cooked just... More
