Local style cooking of fish or meat with charcoal grill as base. Large portions. Friendly staff. Pre ordered tables seem to be with white tablecloth and wooden tables with bench seating for drop ins. Pretty plain and basic. No sauces. Meat comes with ajvar or...plain mustard. Fair prices and draft beer.More

We enjoyed lunch here after arriving on the connecting bus from the ferry at Sudurad.Not many bars or restaurants were open in this beautiful village of Sipanska Luka.This was the first we found to be open and we enjoyed a very good Sipan Salad with...Cheese(feta type) and Chicken Salad.Salad was very fresh,and the chicken was lovely,nice and crispy,grilledThis was served with half litre of good local red wine.The restaurant is nicely located on the prom of this beautiful harbour,one of my favourite Dalmatian places.More

Came here for lunch on Thursday. Slow day due to COVID.... Had amazing food, and after lunch Baldo himself and his wonderful wife joined us for a drink and friendly conversation. Peka was awesome and the atmosphere was great! Topped by an even more spectacular...chocolate dessert! The view on the seaside was perfect and overall it was a perfect Mediterranean summer moment. Our group (8) ate here twice. The first time they had a lamb roasting on a spit. Four of 8 ordered it and they were totally impressed by the quality and flavor of their dishes. My wife and I had steak which was good, though...a little tough. Mine was topped with a truffle/mushroom sauce which was great. It was a little expensive, but no one complained as the food was great. The service was also very good, seeing as we were the only ones there! (LOL) The second time we weren't so hungry so we ordered light meals, soup for some, salad for others, etc. Unfortunately the place was full and the owner's help had not come that night. Service was therefore backlogged, spotty, and the food was underwhelming, items forgotten to be served. So great one day, not so much the other day, thus a 3More

We visited here while staying in the resort. We had the worst meal we have had for a long while. I am not going to bore people with the details but in summary we found; - Poor unatentive service - Poor quality food - High...prices - Unpleasant sewage type smells drifting across the table Such a shame as the restaurant is in good location. We expected the prices to be high which would have been exceptable given that food and service justified such prices but unfortunately they did not and fell a long way short. Glad We have not go to set foot in the place again.More

We arrived on the island Tuesday afternoon looking for somewhere to eat for lunch....what a mistake choosing this restaurant overpriced and mediocre. It cost us 340kn for a basic lunch of pasta shrimp (small portion) chicken and chips. Our hotel (Sipan) was cheaper for dinner...the same evening with larger portions and quicker service. Avoid this place!!More

We arrived in the beautiful area of Sipanska Luca and wandered around to find a restaurant. This place appealed to my husband because of the smell of a whole lamb roasting on an open fire. We knew it was going to be expensive but decided...to go for it anyway. I had the vegetarian special which was a rice dish , quite tasty, and a Sipan cheese salad which was also ok. My husbands lamb arrived and it was small, lots of bones and not very warm. The lamb did not look appealing and he spent all night on the loo! The lamb was definitely not fresh and they must get rid of old meat for the tourists! Over priced too .. AvoidMore

Ate here on our second night and came back again later in the week as it was so nice. It seems to be just a chap with an open grill/oven at the front of his house but the food and service were great. My partner...went for the beefsteak twice (must have been good) and I had grilled fish portion and the sea bass. All was delicious and nicely presented with veg and potatoes or rice (nice change from chips). The sea bass came whole, filleted and was deliciously garlicky and crispy skinned. They also brought us some free warm, fresh bread while we were waiting for our meals. Yum!More

We had pasta with praws. Small frozen prawns with pasta and a salty stock of no significant flavour and the consistency of water. Nothing else on the plate, at all. The pasta was not cooked enough and the prawns cooked too much. The salad -...just tomatoes and onions - although we were told that there would be lots of different vegtables in it. To be aware of!!!! We ordered mineral water. The bottle came in - was opened before coming to the table - and it was NOT mineral water but water from the tap. Which you can actually drink in Croatia - tastes a little artificially - but to pay for it as it was mineral water, is not ok!!!More

We had pasta with shrimps. The pasta was not al dente, the shrimps were overcooked, the portions were too small. The side dish, seasonal salat, consisted of tomatoes and too many onions. Cozy atmosphere, but the quality of the food didn’t match the price.
