Small, family owned restaurant overlooking the beautiful bay of Sipanska Luka. Reservations are a must! as we mainly serve fresh seafood. Romantic place with great selection of wines. A restaurant with long tradition built on excellent food. Visit us! P.S. Our daily break is from 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM, and we only work during the summer season that greatly varies (especially the beginning and the end) on the weather.

Usually you struggle to pick from a menu. We were asked whether we wanted fish or meat. We wanted 5 fish and one meat. I can only say having travelled the world this was in my top 5 of the most incredible meals I have ever had. We were served the most incredible hake I have ever eaten and my daughter who is a firm meat eater loved her beef steak. Most incredible setting for lunch. It’s my life’s ambition now to be lucky enough to come back again.

Always wonderful

We are coming to Kod Marka for 21 years, becausecwe love this beutiful place directly by the sea, overlooking the bay. The 4 of us came with the dinghi boat abd the waiter was helpul to get us at land. Then we were greeted by Gino the owner, who got us a table from which we could look at the fishes in the water. We had green salad with small pices of feta and capers from the island, then sardines with lemons. After we got our absolute favorite…we call it the octopus burger. Our son had a delicious steak while we were excitet with the grilled fish with vegetables from Sipans market. We will come again soon.

Beautiful fresh fish with a wonderful view

We very much enjoyed our meal at this beautiful restaurant right by the water. We shared a risotto to start which was divine, followed by some beautiful fresh Sea Bass served with traditional vegetables. Our waiter was really helpful and friendly, and recommended a rosé wine to accompany our meal which was very nice and paired perfectly with the fish. We felt the meal was good value for money, and reflected the excellent quality of the food that we ate. Would highly recommend a visit here!

Amazing place and food

An excellent place by the sea in a beautifull bay. Great food! We had 4 slides, including famous octopuss burger and grilled schrimps, with local red wine. Supreme! Thanks to our host Đino and his team! We will come again for sure.

A true classic

If you can only have one meal in the whole of Croatia, this is the place to go. While there is a menu, you tend to get just what has been caught fresh that day. We’ve been eating here for years and I can not find fault in any way as the food, service (hi Đino and Marin!), vibe and location (right on the water) are superb. This year we’ve had scorpionfish, whole sole and a slipper lobster pasta, all of which were divine. And let’s not forget the little octopus cakes - yum yum! I would be having lunch there right now if I could.

Another Harmony bay meal

Have had wonderful meals here many times over the years. Continues to be a magic place to have lunch and dinner whilst one spends time in the pristine bay of Sipanska Luka. Still the best restaurant in the region in its category. You will be served what is offered the day of your visit. Fine personal service without overdoing it. The place is not to big and not too small. This all makes one feel at home. Restaurant moorings around and very helpful team with getting ashore. Tasty organic and fresh products well balanced by the chef. Located waterfront and on walking distance to the beach, where one can enjoy a swim and drink on beforehand. Value for money. Neither cheap nor exaggerated. Pricing is not inflated and corresponds to ambiance and food experience. Very clean and neat, without being stiff and high level of hygiene and cleanliness of restrooms. Table reservation and booking a remote mooring directly in front of the restaurant on beforehand is mandatory, as the place is mostly full.

In a magnificent environment, the kod marka restaurant offers a astonishing concept: no menu, no map, no prices, no choice. The server presents the dishes according to the number of guests, which certainly allows the establishment to manage its stock, but limits the customer's preferences. However, the fish offered (sea bass) is cooked in a remarkable way and was unanimously appreciated by the table... The cakes, particularly the orange one, are delicious. Negative point the smug attitude of the waiter in his know-how and his unnecessary reflections concerning our culinary choices. Last suggestion for this one, when you want to be a "head waiter in a large restaurant" you don't ask customers to move aside to do table service with their backs turned to them... a sideboard at the end of the table to serve the plated fish would surely be more suitable and would avoid this inconvenience.

Very good restaurant. The staff are really friendly and we got perfect recommendations. We eat a 3-course fish meal with good wine for less than 39€/person so they prices are also correct. The food was very delicious. The environment is beautiful, and you can eat on the side of a peaceful bay. This restaurant is specialized to fish and marine food but you can choose meats as well.

Amazing

An amazing restaurant in a beautiful bay. Unusually this restaurant was quiet when we visited for lunch. We arrived by boat which I understand most customers do and were served by the wonderful Mico (apologies if spelling is incorrect). We didn’t actually see a menu but took suggestions for our meal which included amazing octopus fish cakes and the most delicious fresh John Dory. Dessert was an amazing orange cake! We are sitting over the water and enjoyed a delicious Croatian rosé and couldn’t have asked for a better meal or setting. I would return to Croatia to eat here. Thank you!

Fabulous Fish Restaurant

Absolutely fantastic fish restaurant. Slightly different as there is no menu but fabulous food we asked approximately how much? The cost was €50 each and was well worth it. There was 4 courses anchovies starter, prawns, octopus fish cakes (lovely texture and taste) and sea bass. Staff great and good service Note cash only no credit cards

Well Worth the Boat Ride from Dubrovnik

Kod Marka was our favourite restaurant in 2 week visit to Croatia. First, taking a boat over from Dubrovnik was exciting added to the charm of the day. When we arrived the staff was friendly and highly accommodating. There was no menu, but the food was delicious. The main course was a grilled fish, that was the best we’d had amongst very strong competition. The entire setting of Sipanska Luka was just beautiful and well worthy the time it takes to travel from Dubrovnik.

One of the best in Croatia!

This was the best restaurant so far in our trip to Croatia! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Although our waiter initially seemed a bit "old-school" and perhaps slightly offensive, he turned out to be very professional in the end. The view was spectacular, and we enjoyed local fish, great spaghetti, and calamari. We also discovered that Croatia has excellent rosé wine! This is definitely a place we would return to again and again, though it’s unfortunately located on an island.

Top quality food

We visited here on a small cruise ship stop, seeing the location across the bay made it the place for us. So we walked round the bay in the afternoon to book, good job we did. On arrival it started to rain but our waiter rearranged the tables to get us under cover. Now the important part we both had that days fresh sea bass it was fabulous, really really good, the best fish of our entire trip, highly recommended, great.

Croatian cuisine at its very best.

This was my favorite meal while in Croatia. It’s a pretty little seaside spot. The food was fresh and fantastic… tasted as if it was just pulled out of the sea. Highly recommend the octopus cakes and the garlic prawns. And the fish was out of this world. A perfect lunch stop if you’ve planned an island excursion.

Fabulous fresh seafood

Charming shore-side restaurant serving AMAZING octopus burgers with restaurant's secret seasoning. Friendly and professional service. Initially, we weren't shown menus and were recommended 3 courses which slightly threw us. After looking at the menu, we ended up taking waiter's recommendation in any case and he was spot on! Along with the burgers, we had a delicious 1.5kg sea bass (filleted for us) which was a highlight.
