Delicious soups, nice, peaceful place. :-) The weather is also nice here now, sun is shining. Some clouds, but not too much. People just chillin. Nice music in the restaurant. <3

This is a very good neighbourhood restaurant, prices are moderate, menu is traditional Hungarian completed with wild dishes. Highly recommended place when visiting the Danube bend area.

The restaurant is nice, recently renovated. The waiters were flexible with the fact that we arrived with 1hr delay.
Prices are reasonable, simple menu, all allergenes properly reflected. Unfortunately no milk free dessert in the menu, but upon request (ordered 1 day in advance via email) the chef prepared for us special milk free dessert.
We were very satisfied!

We were travelling trough the Duna-kanyar region on the 15th of March looking for a restaurant for lunch.
We found Patak Vendéglő, to be honest I didn’t have much of an expectation, but it was a quite nice place with fast, nice and efficient service. The food wasn’t extravagant or extraordinary, but did its job, so it’s a quite typical Hungarian restaurant, one should call it a Hungarian greasy spoon type of place.
So if you want something Hungarian quick and reasonably priced Patak is your ideal choice.

No need to mention food and service as they were good. But when the time came for the payment the waitress did not even try to give change back.

We went there with family end December.
The food was excellent, as for many many years.
No outside seating of course like in summer but the area is more visited in summertime, late spring and early autumn so it is not a problem.
Though you have to book your table in advance if you want to be sure to have your seat guaranteed.
I can advise this restaurant to everyone.

Wr just visited Patak Restaurant. It was full but we were lucky we could get a table for two.
The food was very good and the prices are not high.
However the service was slow a bit and needed to ask for things more times but they were kind.

This restaurant is specialised in wild food but there is a wide variety of choice of other kind of food.
As it is very popular (for many years!) you are advised to reserve your place in advance. But if you arrive before noon – and you are lucky - you might find a table.
The service and the food was really excellent and at a reasonable price.
We will definitely return when going to an excursion in the area – and I think even without an excursion!

Well, first of all I'm happy that that have tripadvisor account, because I had a bad experience in this town with a different restaurant but I can't review coz the don't have tripadvisor profile.
So, the restaurant is quite big and should me busy but we went there weekday evening and it was empty, but the waiter came in a min and served us quickly. He was polite, and he recommended us food. I guess börzsöny tál was the name...
As it is in the title it was tasty and fresh. Lovely :)
The prices are ok, not cheap but for this quality I think it's ok.
I would recommend it!

We had a lovely evening with my husband, my friend recommended to visit this area and specially Patak while in Hungary. Would recommend for everybody, delicious food and wine, gorgeous desserts. 5 star gourmet!!!!!!

When I visited their facebook page and checked the photos I thought this place changed its profile to be a fine dining restaurant. In reality it is not the case it is more of a traditional Hungarian restaurant with decent portions and delicious courses but nothing special. The waiters are kind we enjoyed staying there.

I have already been here several times and it was always a very good experience. The place was always crowded but the staff was fast and helpful. They have a fantastic menu with a lot of different dishes and great prices. The quality and the amount of food is really great. You should try Matrai borzas, turkey breast with blue cheese and SomlĂłi galuska (if you still have place for dessert). If you are planning a trip to Kiralyret, you should definitely stop for a lunch here.

Visited with friends and dogs. Very friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. Silent and calm, take a table at the terrasse.
The dishes are simple perfect, we tasted many specialities from the menu. The daily meals are recommended as well. Really, it is not possible to find any problems!

During a weekend day, I drove with my friend for a short trip from Budapest. Heavy rain came unexpectly , we decided to stop here for some desert. And we wanted to order the strawberry with some cream one, cause we saw in Tripadvisor . However, they just have the other kind instead. We tried that, very good, just the fruit was not the one we like. And my friend even had his early dinner here, it was just 5PM!

After a short trip in the neighbourhood with our toddler, we dropped by this lovely place. All in all, it was a great experience, with fairly good food, nice service, lovely atmosphere and clean bathroom with a changing table for babies (pleasant surprise as it's not common). We had a table outdoors, shortly after we were served politely. I even spotted a small desk for kids with a few toys and pencils.
