We came here on several recommendations, so my expectations were a bit high. The food, location and service were all satisfactorily, but no better than any of the other places just like this. On the down-side was that they had very little fresh fish to choose from and that the staff was very stressed and seemed rather uninterested in both... More

This restaurant welcomes you off the ferry boat. It is located right where the warm Mediterranean waters lap on the shore. The service is friendly and the food delicious. You sit in the open air and feel the breeze while enjoying the sight of passers-by. In the evening, you can't miss the gorgeous west coast sunset paint the bay in luminous... More

We had dinner here and all liked the food. Fantastic view, next to the water and good service. A wine list and not only house wine. Also accepted credit cards and had free WiFi.

The honest and well cooked Greek food. This is a local restaurant run by a local family and specialising in local food with good services. Go here if you are around about.

Ate twice at this place, as we liked the honest made food at the very reasonable price. The food is local and vey well cooked. Try the capers salad and the fresh calamares. The cooked dishes are also worth a go. Wine list is small, but we had a very good greek white priced at 13€, which was a bargain.

After the Tripadvisor Google map took us to Meropi rooms instead of Meropi restaurant, we eventually found this place on the main street of Kameres. It has a waterside covered area that most of the summer crowd use. The first time we went was great, we got a seaside table, however when the frequent ferries come in, the traffic trundles... More

We ate here this evening, and I have to say the food was so tasty and well prepared. We had Tzatziki and small spinach pies to start, followed by Eggplant Imram and stuffed tomatoes, both were extremely well cooked and flavoursome. Great family restaurant. The place is not very big so get there early if you want a table near... More

Meropi was our favorite restaurant to taste all the Greek dishes ! You will find there, a family atmosphere with a lot of delicious plates and the price are cheap, you will find an excellent quality / price ratio ! Then, you have a sea view, which is very pleasant (but as all the restaurant in Kamares area). Highly recommended.

Ate here 3 times & could have easily not gone anywhere else. A superb authentic taverna with a great menu & good prices. Excellent friendly service & first class food. Always the busiest place in the harbour & with good reason. I had the oven cooked goat, the rabbit & pork chops & they were all cooked perfectly. A must... More

This is a very traditional and authentic Greek restaurant. We had chickpea salad and lamb. Lovely staff. We loved it.
